Alici Cucina Mediterranea — Restaurant in Capaccio Paestum

A wonderful place. Myself and my Girlfriend, went out to have a special dinner, as she's got a new promotion about her job. So we decided to celebrate it. While walking through different places, we met Mr Luciano. What a great Guy. He spoke to us about, The Alici's Restaurant, shown theirs spectacular dining rooms, and we left so impressed. He acknowledged us, with passion and love. We asked for classic and traditional dishes. Everything was delicious, dessert included. N. B. The seafood was extremely fresh. Great wine selection too. Very nice place. Had lunch (we wanted pizza, but they only serve those in the evening) and dinner (pizza!!) at the same day. For lunch we had some a la carte dishes. The Prosciutto di mare is awesome: cured tuna fish with mozzarella and some kind of lardo. Amazing! Also the primi’s were great, super fresh and tasteful.

In the evening we went back for pizza. Very fresh and top ingredients! Also nice wine selection for a good price.

Especially the service is worth mentioning. Luciano did a great job and made us feel super welcome. Also the owner (sorry, we forgot your name) is a super nice guy and was very helpful in giving us some tips...

Paestum Capaccio devoted a street,right facing the ancient pre roman walls of this extraordinary historical gem,to high level restaurants. The town called back home several internationally well experienced local food professionals to enrich the offer. One of the top results of this policy is this extremely interesting restaurant runned by a young guy come back from England. Enjoy the full menu,taking into consideration the daily special offers created according to the fishing catch of the day. Very good wine choice as well....
