In October 2019 we have been to this Restaurant. Another guest from the place that we stayed at recommended the restaurant and the starter plate with raw tuna. I was a big fan of raw tuna and had to it all since my wife was pregnant. The next day and a half i felt so horrible I wanted to die. As soon as I could walk again we took the ferry to mainland and drove home 🙃

Der Besuch im Il Vecchio sollte ein Highlight des schönen Tages werden. Als Fazit kann man folgendes sagen: Das Essen war leider überhaupt nicht lecker. Natürlich kann man es essen, aber im Verhältnis zum Preis leider eine Enttäuschung. Wenn man ins Restaurant mit einer Bewertung von 4.3 geht erwartet man eine Überraschung am Gaumen. Das war leider nicht der Fall. Die Toiletten und die Teller waren leider nicht sauber. Warum es zwei Sterne verdient hat: Der Kellner war wirklich sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und konnte sogar auf Deutsch kommunizieren (was natürlich kein „Muss“ ist). Probiert lieber ein anderes Restaurant aus. Es ist immer blöd so eine Bewertung zu geben, aber es war leider wirklich nicht gut. Ciao

Bei unserem Besuch im Borgo wurden wir sehr nett empfangen und wir haben gleich einen Platz bekommen. Da mir das Restaurant recht klein vorkommt und offenbar nur einen Außenbereich zum sitzen hat, ist es mir positiv aufgefallen da es ist nicht so für massen an Touristen ausgelegt. Überrascht hat mich das super Essen, ich als seltener Fischesser habe das Thunfischsteak genommen und es war perfekt. Meine Freundin eine Pizza auch die sagte zu mir das sie selten so eine gute pizza gegessen hat. Also allemal eine Empfehlung wert.

Food was good BUT: the Boss spilled the espresso over my boyfriends pants and shoes. This can happen, of course and we were not angry. But after we did not get any apology and had to pay full price we complained that this behavior is not ok. They still did not see their mistake because we could wash the pants....

A perfect end of our vacation. Super friendly and professional staff, excellent tasty and fresh food beautifully decorated. The only little drawback: men’ bathroom can not be locked from the inside and the handle of the toilet itself was broken. A small defect on otherwise...
