Bar Jovis — Restaurant in Capri

Great food and service! Gorgeous view! We forgot to take a picture of our cocktails and sandwich but they were so good! The prices were more reasonable than most Capri prices. 10-12€ for cocktails, 8-10€ for sandwiches (that are amazing), 3€ for an espresso. Honestly the sandwich was the best, didn't even realized we were hungry until we saw it. Mozzarella and prosciutto with fresh tomatoes and basil on a delectable bun.

AVOID!! It's a family run place but they are very unfriendly. I asked for a tuna sandwich with olives and onion and they gave tuna and tomatoes and made me pay the same. A bottle of 500ml sparkling water for €3.50! The beverages prices are not displayed. When I asked for the price they became very rude, saying the prices where on another menu but never seen it. The husband said to me to go way. The was surely refilled because it had no bubbles at all and it was brought to the table opened. I was still eating and they took away the dishes. For the same price you can go to a better quality food and service. Avoid...

Fantastic place to grab a bite. The quality of the food was far better than most of Capri, with excellent prices. Our sandwiches had amazingly high quality bread and the ingredients were all very fresh. Great coffee as well. Service was excellent and views were incredible.

For a restaurant located close to Villas Jovis, with those views, I assumed the food would be lackluster but it’s truly worth the hike just to visit restaurant alone.

I’d highly recommend visiting if you want a sandwich to remember!...
