We cannot comment on the food as we didn’t eat any because after waiting 20 minutes for the Table to be cleared nothing happened- oh the Waitress gave us a Menu - but having sat at a dirty Table we decided this place was not for us. I note the response - with respect we did not seat ourselves at a Table, we were shown to the Table by a man in a blue shirt - he then sat outside the Restaurant door, on a chair for the duration of our stay - he was followed by a young waitress who removed some items from the Table but who never returned. ‘Ristorante tipico’ a Cascia, a soli due passi dalla Basilica di Santa Rita, in via Roma 16, con possibilità di parcheggio vicino. Subito accolti dalla cordialità e dalla simpatia del Sig. Antonio, siamo stati poi guidati nella scelta dei piatti dalla preparazione e dalla gentilezza della giovanissima proprietaria Alessia. Dieci e lode alla cuoca! Tutti i piatti ben curati e serviti in un ambiente rilassante ed informale. Piatti davvero tipici come recita il nome del ristorante ma assolutamente adattabili a tutte le esigenze, non solo alla versione vegetariana ma addirittura alla versione vegana e senza che qualcuno storcesse il naso ma anzi, tutt’altro, dimostrando un’apertura davvero apprezzabile ad assecondare le richieste dei clienti. In quattro persone, con ottimo antipasto fatto di 8 bruschette al tartufo e di 4 al pomodoro, con due porzioni di polenta al tartufo favolose, un piatto di deliziose pennette panna e tartufo, una tagliata al tartufo cotta al punto giusto con cicoria saltata, due porzioni di patate rosmarine al forno, un sorbetto al limone e una fetta di torta della casa con panna, con porzioni abbondanti e servizio veloce ed impeccabile, per soli 25 euro a testa???!! Quasi come in pizzeria??? Incredibile! Noi siamo andati senza prenotare ma è consigliabile farlo: dove si mangia così bene ed a questo prezzo, si sa che il locale si riempie subito!! Da ritornarci...

Such an amazing (I think family run) little restaurant. We were very lucky finding a seat straight away. As shortly after ordering, the place was full.

Cannot go wrong with the "tourist menu", honestly you will be so full as if you've gone to your Nona's house! Very tradional and home-made food, nothing fancy or over the top. Just good Italian food done right as your Nona...
