L'Angoletto Restaurant — Restaurant in Castel di Tora

Don’t normally do reviews but we just had to of L’Angoletto Restaurant. It’s the end of the season at the moment and we really struggled to find anywhere open, but L’Angoletto was open and had space when we visited. We absolutely loved it here and ended up visiting twice!

Such an incredible view, and the hosts were really friendly and welcoming to us. The food is fresh and local - we had fish from the lake we were sat next to and beef from cows in the next village along.

Prices are very reasonable (especially considering the local produce) and we would absolutely recommend a visit. Thanks so much for a great...

La location è veramente bella. Hanno un terrazzino con vista che da solo meriterebbero le 5 stelle. Ma secondo me una recensione con un buon voto non si può basare solo sulla location o cosa si mangia ,ma anche con altre cose. Mi spiego meglio.... Bagno unico per tutti ( uomini ,donne , disabili e bagnanti dello stabilimento sottostante). Credetemi ..IMPRATICABILE !! Per evitare certi spettacoli Basterebbe creare unaltro bagno (lo spazio ci sarebbe ) o far passare qualcuno durante il servizio per pulire ..... Altra cosa che nn ho gradito è stato nel conto la voce : " servizi " 2 € p.p. 2 euro x cosa ? Il servizio al tavolo nn di certo ( ho chiesto una bottiglia di acqua durante l'antipasto ed è arrivata dopo sollecito alla fine dei primi ...) ,il "servizio" inteso come bagni lasciamo stare .... Rimarrebbe il famoso pane ( tagliato troppo tempo prima quindi secco ... ) e coperto , ma nella regione Lazio questa voce dovrebbe essere stata tolta.... Resta il fatto che mi sembra una cifra esagerata 2 € p.p. ( se si è in due è il costo di un dolce .....) in rapporto ai costi delle portate . Peccato!!! Peccato perché l'antipasto non era male ( io sostituirei la mozzarella insapore con una ricottina) , buoni i primi anche se bisognerebbe fare attenzione alla quantità ( avevamo preso le fettuccine con i funghi e la quantità di pasta era tanto diversa tra i due piatti che si notava in maniera palese ) . Dolci più che sufficienti. Ma ripeto ... Peccato !! Peccato perché hanno un potenziale importante che però si disperde x delle cose che potrebbero...

We drove over 100km to visit this restaurant, we called several times(more than 4 times) with no answer. Only to turn up to a completely empty restaurant and be refused service because they are apparently booked full even though they had been open for an hour and there was not a soul in the restaurant , as people of colour visiting small towns in Italy we were warned of harsh treatment and this definitely felt that...
