I had an amazing experience at Trattoria Il Tasso near Castel di Tora. The food tastes homemade and truly regional – I tried the Strigliozzi ai Funghi Porcini, a rustic local pasta dish, and it was simply outstanding. My companion had the Cannelloni ripieni di Ricotta e Spinaci with béchamel and ragù, which was also spectacular rich, comforting, and full of authentic flavor.

What made the experience even more memorable was the warm hospitality: the chef, who speaks perfect Spanish after living in Mexico, was incredibly kind and welcoming. Our waitress, his sister, was very attentive, friendly, and charming, making the service impeccable.

Ci abbiamo pranzato in 6 e nessuno è rimasto soddisfatto.. .Un "ristorante" dove la cosa più bella è la terrazza che affaccia sul lago...per il presto tutto da rivedere...le porzioni sono abbondanti nelle quantità ma non nel gusto...le pappardelle ai porcini le sconsiglio perché i funghi non sanno di nulla (ci è venuto il dubbio che fossero decongelati e non freschi), stessa cosa per gli gnocchi con il "tartufo" (un tartufo così scarso non l'avevamo mai mangiato), buona la scamorza con il prosciutto mentre quella con il tartufo da evitare per lo stesso motivo delle pappardelle sopracitate...secondi accettabili abbiamo preso grigliata mista e arrosticini...il tiramisù è da evitare (il vero e semplice tiramisù è un'altra cosa)...mensione doverosa va fatta sulle patate al forno... non ci era MAI capitato che in un ristorante ci venissero servite delle patate al forno CONGELATE il cartone ha un gusto ed una consistenza migliore (tra l'altro nel menù non era presente il classico * che indica che un prodotto potrebbe essere congelato). Servizio buono, i ragazzi sono stati cordiali e discreti. Magari abbiamo beccato una giornata no del locale ma non mi spiego come si faccia a dare 5 stelle per un RISTORANTE del genere. Insomma 36€ a testa potevamo...
