It's been a long time that I retuned to the places of my childhood and youth after decades - but to have been taken to Pizzeria Capri Blue on my first evening, was the best idea a friend of mine had! It's a wonderful place - not too big - although they also offer the possibility to take a table outside, in front of the Pizzeria itself, close to the street - well, it is the end of November, so, we rather stayed inside. the personell is top notch! - friendly, fast, excellent in their manners and behaviour - they make you feel as if you have been just lost for a couple of years and finally came back home - gives you a warm "welcome" feeling. The Pizza is just a culinaric dream!!! Compliments to the guys at the oven - you did a perfect job boys - what wonder that they did not try to stay in London - how lucky I was that you returned back home, and made my Pizza at your place to be just wonderfull delicious! Their crocchettone (a local version of a potato croquette) is something you should try, they have few different versions. The freshly made, hot Neapolitan pizza with a fantastic (what we describe as a balloon crust but authentic pizza) blistery crust.

They have a good selection of beer, wines & other beverages. Highly recommend a bottle of the Falanghina wine, local & flavorful, but not sweet

Quattro stelle le merita tutte. Di sicuro una delle migliori pizzerie nella zona a sud di Napoli, che sa unire la tradizionale maestria della pizza napoletana alla ricerca di sapori e ingredienti nuovi. CONSIGLIATO

Bisogna attendere un po'per entrare ma almeno ci si può sedere fuori. Già all'ingresso la pizzeria attrae per i colori e le insegne originali. Certo, forse il cartellone luminoso fa tanto farmacia di paese, ma non pregiudica il complesso. Il locale è allegro, originale e in pieno tema "capri" e "blu". Tutto ricorda l'isola: dai limoni a mo di agrumeto all'ingresso, alla "piazzetta" creata al centro del locale, con i balconcini, alle foto delle barche dei pescatori. C'è WiFi per clienti, basta chiedere. Facile accesso anche per passeggini e per persone con difficoltà motorie. Non c'è il parcheggio ma non è un problema perché è a due passi dal lungomare, diventando tappa di una passeggiata notturna con lo sfondo del golfo napoletano. Il menù è ampio, con ben 4 pagine di pizze, oltre ad antipasti, dolci e birre alla spina e in bottiglia. Pur essendo un locale frequentato da turisti non si è lasciato contaminare o distrarre, rimanendo nell'ambito del locale. Il servizio è rapidissimo: con il locale pieno, una festa in corso, di venerdì sera mai mi sarei aspettato di essere servito in appena 5 minuti. In questo modo non ci si spazientisce dopo aver atteso tanto fuori ma si gusta subito la pizza. Abbiamo ordinato due pizze: Bufalina (Margherita con bufala) e Pestifera (pesto genovese, pomodorini, speck e mozzarella). La bufalina è ottima, il pomodoro non è acido e la salsa è ben tirata. La bufala tende ad allargare la pizza, rilasciando molti siero, ma questa pizza era ben asciutta e non ha pregiudicato la masticabilità. Si sente molto il formaggio grattugiato: ottimo lavoro. La Pestifera è sicuramente sfiziosa. Equilibrata e non troppo sapida, i pomodorini dolci e non aspri, la mozzarella in giuste quantità. Sicuramente non una pizza leggerissima ma non appesantisce e non disgusta. Infine, due conti: coperto 1,50€ a testa; pestifera 8€; bufalina 6€; acqua 1,50€ e birra 5€. Totale 23,50€, onestissimo. Un rapporto qualità prezzo esatto.
