While this restaurant may be a little difficult to find, it is worth the hunt. The moment we entered we were treated like queens. Highly attentive staff and fine dining. And I mean FINE dining. The table romantically set with a small lamp that had a cozy welcoming ambiance. The staff had impeccable timing for every dish, with silverware resetting at every step. The wine flowed, and our glasses were never empty, but the sommelier let our wine breath with the upmost care. The starters were delicious, beautifully placed, artfully presented and tasted out of this world. It was a true feast for the eyes and mouth. Complimentary bread with locally made butter and olive oil was the first to blow our minds. The antipastas were delicate and filling even though you ate it in two bites. Every ingredient was perfectly chosen, ripe, and prepared with great care. The Primo and secondo left us wanting more, but there were so many flavors to enjoy we wanted everything on the menu. The brillant, charming and personable chef came out and chatted with each table, showing his commitment to his art and ensuring our satisfaction. We were never rushed, the bathrooms were amazing, and I believe this is the best restaurant I've ever visited. Thank you for all your care and we hope to visit you again. It was truly our pleasure. Tanto amore (we don't speak any italian, but they were very accomadating and spoke english...

We were finally greeted by an attentive waiter with good English. Best regards to Fabulous Fabio for spreading his kindness and making us feel welcome.
For the waiting snack we recieved great quality, soft but crunchy, hot bread (not sweet and artificially colored, like we have recieved so far), and a couple of delicious grissini.
The food arrived in short time, looked gorgeous and tasted even better.
The duck was seared and cooked to a perfect state, and the sides of a waffle with salty cheese and zucchini were fitting the dish's composition perfectly.
The other dish was pasta alla nerano, which is a simple dish, but also was made to perfection, although we added some salt and pepper to taste.
For desert we had cannolo which surprised us with a balance of crunchiness, creamyness and not overwhelming sweetness.
This dinner was a perfect last day in castellammare. Definitely a must go place if you're ever...
Read moreThis is the worst experience ever. Never go here if you want decent service. I explained that we had only 30 minutes. The waiter said it was fine and then proceeded to take all the time in the world. When I asked to pay ahead of time multiple times the waiter rejected and then told me I was being unreasonable. Also should have view of the water but bushes cover the view. There was nothing going for this restaurant. Food was bland. Would recommend never...
