GOLDEN HIDDEN GEM! Do yourself a favor and venture beyond Castelsardo's central square to uncover this delightful treasure. Without Google Maps, you might miss noticing this restaurant initially. Tucked away between two charming, narrow alleys, the cozy establishment is staffed with incredibly polite individuals. While I had read that the owner and his wife manage the place, I couldn't distinguish them from the other courteous employees. The open kitchen setup allows you to witness the chefs' simple yet artful preparation, an experience that is absolutely worth it. The combination of the thin, crispy crust and the freshly cut toppings resulted in what I can confidently say is the best pizza I've ever had.

Even though we were among the first to arrive, it took over an hour before we were served. I can’t imagine how long the people who came after us had to wait. There were only two people working, the waiter and the pizzaiolo, which may explain the delays.
