Caffè Puglisi — Restaurant in Catania

This is the place that we have visited the most throughout our stay in Catania. It fed us great breakfast almost every morning. There is a variety of Sicilian snacks you can get there. My favorite was the aranchino, and my girlfriend loved the cannolo. I tend to agree with her that it was the best cannoli we have had. Make sure to try the variety of fillings they have for it. We are people who enjoy coffee as well, and Caffe Puglisi delivered here as well. The espresso was strong and full of taste, and the cappuccino was simply delicious. We were a bit hesitant to enter as it was surrounded by older Italian men (in not the most pleasant area in this town) but once we entered the cafe, the owner behind the counter was warm, welcoming and amazingly friendly. Consiglio a tutte le riviste specializzate riguardo pasticceria, di visitare questo bar pasticceria, tavola calda e gastronomia, per provare la genuinità dei prodotti, la genialità che da il mastro pasticcere nel sfornare prodotti di alta fattura siciliana, e poi la generosità quantitativa e qualitativa che da alla farcitura di qualsiasi pezzo di colazione dalla ricotta(CON VERA RICOTTA)alla crema sia cioccolata che crema pasticcera(VERA CREMA PASTICCERA).Sono stato a catania e qualche giorno e per caso ho scoperto questo bar, ho mangiato arancini con carne che solo Savia si puo avvicinare, la pasta del iris era sottile e la crema cioccolata nera, il panzerotto è divino perché la pasta è all'uovo e biscottata perfettamente la crema è morbidosa e mordendola lascia il velluto fra le labbra e il pasticcere per fare una cosa così e da premio. Il servizio a sempre salutato ha sempre sorriso, un servizio pronto pulito educato.
