A wonderful evening that we spent on the beautiful balcony of the best restaurant we visited in Sicily. Although the balcony was full of guests, the atmosphere was still very calm, comfortable, and intimate (and under citrus trees!). No rush on one hand, but quick and precise preparation of delicious food on the other. The waiters are by you at the right time, they are happy to help you with any questions or requests you might have. To sum up, if you are looking for a great place, with stunning seafood and/or fish, and a perfect atmosphere you want to enjoy, you will find all of it in here. Do not hesitate to order different types of dishes and share them with your companion as you will want to try as many flavors as you will be able to make during one evening.

Very tasty food for reasonable price. The main host gave us even fresh orangr jucie for free, all adaptations to the meals were made without hesitation and the service was exceptionally good and the stuff very friendly. The prices are pretty good and the covering was only 1€ and only charged for adults which is not everywhere the case. The main host speaks pretty good english, which is nice and rare in Italy ;) The only tiny complaint I had, but it's probably just a personal thing is that the pasta with prawns and salomon was with smoked salmon instead of fresh, which was not stated in the menu...I really dislike smoked salmon, but my wife helped with the salmon she is a big fan. A Trattoria I wolud recommend to everyone.

First of all I want to say that I really like Italy. As a travel agent I travel more than the others and I have a really big experience all over the world. It is the first time I write negative comment. This restaurant was fully disappointment. It is the first time that we leave restaurant after 50 minutes and pay with no tips. The service is bad. No one at the entrance. They lead You to the table while bringing food to other guests. If You order wine - You will drink it in a water IKEA glass, unless You are an Italian. If You want to smoke, You can't, unless You are an Italian. If You require recommendation about the food, You will not receive it, unless You are an Italian. The portions are small. You order an octopus salad and you get half a plate of chopped cabbage. You order grilled seafood and you get fresh cabbage again, 1 squid that is so tough that it's not edible, 1 baby squid and some sprat fish. The seafood paste was actually basically empty mussel shells with two spoons of pasta. The night before we visited another, much more modest restaurant, which was much better. We felt unwanted. And this only because we are tourists. Very sad. People who request to be professional are so rude... Really sorry for my choice.

Strike #1: Their exterior (picture #1) in an alley, on the second floor, of a seemingly poorly maintained building. They have no street frontage, nor signage. Strike #2: We arrived approximately 8:00pm on a Friday night. There was only one other table with customers. (Not a good sign, if is a popular restaurant.) Strike #3: We were roughly greeted. They asked if we had a reservation. Since we did not, they could only sest us by the front door. When the menus came, there were limited options, with seemingly "tourist pricing". With everything considered, we decided best to leave, within minutes of receiving their menu, and of course before we ordered. PS So I could post a view of their tacky interior (picture #2), I took a picture thru their only window (which is a cutout of their interior wall, separating their door entrance and restaurant area). When I did, the Host got angry, as you can see in the picture.

We arrived without a reservation and were seated in the back terrace ( where we wanted to). This is a non smoking area ( even if it is outside ). The seafood bruschetta were good. I ate the penne salmon and shrimp and was ok. Nothing special for this price point. It's is a fair value for money. The portion is large enough that you will not be hungry afterwards. My wife ate the crazy linguine and did not like it. Maybe it is just her taste. When she told the waiter that the taste was weird they offered a different dish at no cost. This truly is a good example on how to treat clients. The atmosphere is ok. Seating is nice, maybe a little music in the background would be better. But maybe sometimes there is music.

A nice restaurant for dinner with a good and romantic atmosphere in the garden. We went with an expectation, but I think we chose a wrong dish. We ordered the grand appetizer for two people that served 14 different dishes, a collection of raw/marinated/fried/steamed fish and seafood dishes. The raw fish/octopus was fresh and nice. The fried shrimps and fish were crunchy but a bit salty and greasy. In the end, it was nothing so special in the way of presenting or using sauce or else rather than the number of dishes. However, we don't complaint as it offers them with a reasonable price. I'd recommend going for a la carte pasta or fish dishes as opposed to the grand appetizer dish.
