We told our daughter to go and reserve us a table. She asked kindly if she could have a table for 6 people. The answer of the waiter was no. Then I went and asked for a table 5 mins later and then i received a table instantly. That waiter then rudely pushed past our daughter without excusing herself. Then we decided to order our food with another waiter. She was really friendly. We had to wait 15 mins for our drinks. Our food arrived after 60 mins. Disappointing experience for a restaurant on the beach. Few choices for seafood dishes. Menu had items with asterisk marked with no legend to indicate what it meant. We asked the waiter and told us “surgelato a bordo” so basically frozen. I had a “frittura mista” which was fine but my wife had a “grigliata mista” but considering how quick they serviced it the dish was mostly prepared beforehand. We were staying an AirB&B nearby and had dinner at this place most of the time. Food was mostly good , we had a preference for Frittura alla Paranza with a rich salad and a bottle of local Vermentino. They also had nice desserts with a good Passito di Pantelleria. Intriguing the liquor list with among other the essence of the alpine herb Kümmel ,distilled in Pomaretto close to the Albergian area in Piedmont where the herb grows ( usually Kümmel is to be found not as a distillate but as a much too sweet liquor).
