I came here every day on my vacation in Chioggia for breakfast and was always warmly welcomed🫶🏼 The coffee is excellent here👌🏼 The cocktails were all very refreshing and well mixed 😮‍💨 I also really enjoyed the snacks such as crosssint or toast🔥 The staff were all friendly and the service was first class with no long waiting times ☝🏼 When I fly back to Chioggia on my next vacation, you will definitely find me here every morning. Cercavo un locale dove bere uno Spritz buono a Chioggia. Leggendo le recensioni decido di andare "Al Vecio Orologio": arrivato davanti, con sorpresa il locale è tra i pochi che non ha nessuno seduto (probabilmente l'ora non era quella giusta). Mi accomodo e subito viene il Gestore a prendere l'ordinazione. Attesa di pochi minuti e mi viene servito una bel calice con lo Spritz ordinato accompagnato da un tagliere di affettato, una ciotola di patatine e dei grissini. Lo Spritz era delizioso con dosi ben proporzionate, l'affettato ha fatto da cornice rendendo il tutto perfetto. Locale piccolo, si potrebbe definire " laboratorio" in quanto i tavoli sono all'esterno coperti da una tenda ben posizionata, con spazio tra i tavoli sufficiente anche per persone con disabilità, prezzi nella media della località. Quando ritorno a Chioggia sicuramente ne andrò assaggiare un altro.

Posto incontrato per caso,e come tutte le cose casuali si è rivelato una bella scoperta, cibo (tramezzini) nel nostro caso ottimi con ripieni molto generosi ,spritz perfetto ingredienti dosati al punto giusto , personale gentile e preparato , prezzi nella norma e onesti ,il titolare molto disponibile abbiamo avuto occasione di fare 2 chiacchiere avendo lui un attimo di tempo , una disponibilità e gentilezza che comunque riserva a tutta la clientela in base al tempo ovviamente ,comunque per concludere se vi trovate a Chioggia oltre a visitare tutte le bellezze storiche che l'isola offre , verso l'ora di pranzo fermatevi per un bell' aperitivo ,o altro Al Vecio Orelogio ,non ne rimarrete delusi .

Posto incontrato per caso,e come tutte le cose casuali si è rivelato una bella scoperta, cibo (tramezzini) nel nostro caso ottimi con ripieni molto generosi ,spritz perfetto ingredienti dosati al punto giusto , personale gentile e preparato , prezzi nella norma e onesti ,il titolare molto disponibile abbiamo avuto occasione di fare 2 chiacchiere avendo lui un attimo di tempo , una disponibilità e gentilezza che comunque riserva a tutta la clientela in base al tempo ovviamente ,comunque per concludere se vi trovate a Chioggia oltre a visitare tutte le bellezze storiche che l'isola offre , verso l'ora di pranzo fermatevi per un bell' aperitivo ,o altro Al Vecio Orelogio ,non ne rimarrete delusi .

My favourite place to sit and enjoy a coffee (or cocktail) in Chioggia. The service is incredible. I wanted a Mojito and just for this cocktail, they have called their specialist for mixing cocktails, and it was the best I've ever had. The owners are so friendly, like nowhere else. I will really miss you guys, but hopefully I can come back soon. Grazie mille for your special treatment and your special service. To all people around: go to this place and enjoy!

UPDATE: Exactly 1 year later, I came back with a colleague of mine and it felt like homecoming, seeing the same people from last year again, with the same energy, was just awesome. I enjoyed every day in this café and it will not be the last time for me. See you guys next year...

This is a very special place. Family owned - mom, dad and son will make your visit to the wonderful town of Chioggia a treat. We made it to the cafe twice a day - cappuccino and croissant in the AM and a glass of wine in the evening, always looking out onto Chioggia's main street, its beautiful cathedral and passersby on foot or bike. Most amazing was the help we received from Peter, head of the household, who daily suggested places to go as near as 1 stop on the ferry to the nature preserve or to Venice or Padua by bus. The cafe became one of our most memorable stops on an otherwise very memorable trip. Drop in on Peter and family and tell him Jeff and Sue sent you - trust us. It's special. ...

It was me first time in Italy in general and this was the first Café we visited in Italy, I have never experienced a service like that! I don’t understand how people can go there and accept a rude service like that. The wife of the owner didn’t serve us the food that we ordered. We ordered vegetarian food and they served us food with ham. She literally threw the plate onto our table. She didn’t want to accept that we didn’t order it like this and started complaining in front of us to her husband about us in Italian. We are NEVER coming again !!!!! 1 star is even...
