Kanto - Feeling Experience — Restaurant in Colico

The selection is amazing, everything tasted fresh and of good quality. We ordered half of the menu, everything was tip-top! If you are in colico and you do like sushi it is a no brainer to visit this place. The staff no speak americano - english and I mean really they don't. But for a buffet sushi lunch or dinner it is an amazing place. There are some drawbacks, the drinks are prohibitively expensive and the bathroom - amazing as it is - was lacking of soap of any kind. Why would they not provide that, a funny memento to this is the printed A4 paper on how to properly wash hands (courtesy of covid19) but at the sinks neither had soap when I tried to press the button. There was an extra soap bottle which was also empty... I had to resort to hand sanitizer, but it's not the same. I'd deduct a star for this but the food is so good,...

As we’ve arrived we’ve been seated immediately and provided with a tablet on which you had to order! It’s new and for the young easy to understand, however it might be very unconventional for certain ages! The starters were very pleasing and already gave a very good look into the quality of the food! As we’ve ordered our main courses I firstly was expecting that it will be smaller portions, nevertheless I got fooled and the portions were quite big so we’ve started to struggle to finish. So be responsible and order less at once or you might end up wasting food! All in all the experience was great and for the fair price of 18€ very acceptable! We’ve before thought that the lunch menu might have a little variation only but no it was far enough to taste all! Enjoy once...

Partiamo con una premessa , ho mangiato a kanto da quando lo hanno aperto , ho visto un decisivo peggioramenti mese dopo mese , all'inizio piatti ricercati ,location pulita , e personale cordiale , in poco tempo probabile il fatto di una mole di lavoro importante la location è divenuta in alcuni tratti sporca (polvere) che indica una pulizia sommaria , per non parlare del posteggio che durante le stagioni calde , odorava di pesce avariato , di recente hanno inserito i tablet , ma per dieci persone due tablet sono un po' pochi senza contare che non c'è una divisione di ciò che viene ordinato tra i due tablet il che rende poi difficile gestire quello che arriva creando anche incomprensioni e pericolo di ingestione di prodotti con allergeni ,ora passiamo alla parte più delicata , il pesce!! Alcune portate sono buone ,preparate con la passione di quando appena aperto , altre invece sono un nascondere la errata freschezza del pesce , mettendo su una barca di spezie che appunto provano a nascondere il sapore angusto del pesce , peccato che chi và a mangiare sushi una o due volte al mese può accorgersene ,soprattutto se diversifica da un locale all'altro , come ben sapete non bisogna fare di un filo d'erba un fascio , però se a metà ordine ti ritrovi a mangiare una portata del genere ,tutto il resto perde di valore,e anzi la paura di stare male cosa che poi avviene ti farà finire una cena alla velocità della luce , il servizio è rimasto eccellente. Il conto non è stato per niente coerente con la qualità del mangiato , da un conto del genere uno non si aspetta di mangiare come in uno stellato ,ma sicuramente che il pesce sia fresco , buono e che non debba passare il giorno successivo dolorante e in bagno .
