Bella Piazza — Hotel in Colico

Great apartment on Colico's beautiful and lively main pedestrian square, right in front of the lake with a balcony and breathtaking view on the surrounding mountains, still very quiet and discreet. Recently renovated, fully furnished and equipped (heating, air conditioning, big fridge, washing machine, induction cooking hob), provided with fast Internet connection, it is ideal for a romantic escape but hosts comfortably up to four persons. Very central and close to Colico train station - pizzerias, nice restaurants, ice-cream shops, cafés, supermarkets are just down the stairs, as well as relaxing walks in the nature, down to "Sentiero Valtellina", the bicycle path leading to the upper part of the region. Colico is famous on the north side of lake Como for sports - hiking, cycling, kite-surf, horse-riding - just to name a few - are just a walk away, Chiavenna, Valtellina's mountain, ski resorts, thermal baths are also not very far, as the Western side of the lake and Milan. WORST HOST EVER. RUN AWAY.

Absolutely terrible experience. We arrived at the apartment only to find the heater completely off. I immediately contacted the host, but instead of providing a simple solution, he refused to explain how to turn it on. Frustrated, I pushed for answers, and his response was shockingly aggressive. Then, at 1 AM, he decided to show up at the apartment, and let himself in! Instead of offering any help, he confronted me aggressively over how I had spoken to him. Feeling completely unsafe, I went to the police the next day.

This was beyond unacceptable—do yourself a favor and stay FAR away...

Waren 2023 schon einmal hier und in dieser Zeit hat sich die Wohnung sehr verschlechtert. Wir hatten den Eindruck, dass diese Wohnung nicht gereinigt wurde. Überall war Staub, Schmutz, lange schwarze Haare, Töpfe und Gläser waren schmutzig, die Fenster waren von innen total verschmiert, das Dekokissen auf dem Sofa war kaputt, die Gardinen waren nicht richtig aufgehangen, die Leisten am Boden in der Küche sind nicht mehr in der Führung, das Laminat ist stellenweise so weit auseinander, das hier eine Unfallgefahr besteht! Die Waschmaschine ist nicht nutzbar (dreckig). Hier sollte man auch mal diese Waschmaschine und vor allem neben der Waschmaschine putzen. Es roch in der Wohnung, besonders im Schlafzimmer sehr unangenehm. Ich musste nach einer langen Fahrt die Wohnung ersteinmal reinigen. Die Matratze war sehr sehr sehr durchgelegen und wir hatten kaum Schlaf und jeden morgen starke Rückenschmerzen. Leider hatten wir den Eindruck (und das war beim letzten Mal nicht so), das die Nachbarn im Haus von den Feriengästen genervt sind. Über uns die Wohnung war nachts extrem laut, es war kaum ruhig, da man die Stühle oder was auch immer stark auf den Boden knallte. Das war auffällig. Die Nachbarin neben uns (war sehr provokant), diese knallte die Haupteingangstür unten vor unserer Nase zu. Leider werden wir diese nicht mehr buchen, was schade ist, da diese bei unserem 1. Besuch echt schön war. Ein Tipp! Bitte kontrollieren Sie doch Ihr Personal und auch einmal die Wohnung. Einen Stern gibt es lediglich für Lage und Aussicht und einen Stern aus...
