Ristorante Pizzeria Il Faro — Restaurant in Colico

[A cozy place where you will eat bad food] We ate on the outdoor porch on a summer evening. The place is large and there is a small playground for children, but it is quite dark and unfortunately there is no view of the lake. The place is still nice and the staff are friendly, but the food is very low quality. The pizza is terrible and all the dishes are not adequate compared to their cost (which instead are more or less in line with the other places in the area where you eat much better). My impression was that they cooked poorly already bad ingredients. I do not recommend stopping in this place and instead go to one of the other numerous restaurants on the lakefront a few meters away. You could eat equally badly (but it's difficult), but at least you can enjoy the view...

So good, we came back the next day!

My husband and I visited this restaurant in Colico after reading the positive Google reviews, and it completely exceeded our expectations. It’s located just a short walk from the lake beach, which makes it an ideal spot for a relaxing meal.

The ambience is warm and inviting, the staff are friendly and attentive, and the food is absolutely delicious. We enjoyed it so much that we came back again the very next day for dinner!

This was the only disappointing dining experience of our tour through northern Italy. We went as a family of five adults, but the service was slow, and the food was mediocre at best. The real issue, however, was the kitchen’s incompetence. Our dishes came out one at a time, forcing us to wait until everything was cold before we could eat. We even had to start eating when only four out of five main courses had arrived. My tuna salad arrived without the tuna, and my son’s meal came after everyone else had finished.
