It all started every well. We walked into this stunning restaurant, looking something from the Italian country side. Little did we know. It all started with the waiter not getting the drinks order, even after multiple try’s. We got a good starter consisting of different sausages, some cheese and one piece of bread (no refill on the bread for some reason). Now the fun started. The same waiter started to randomly remove some of the plates and some of our cutlery. He then came with steak knifes for the main dish, but only to some of the guests. The same happened when we got the main course. A quarter of the guests didn’t get their main dish until the rest have finished their plate. When it finally arrived, the meat had only been heated and were still raw on the inside. It was returned to the kitchen and came back to the table extremely well done.
All in all a terrible eating experience that I would not recommend to anyone. We were siting waiting for a hidden camera team revealing them selves and the prank, or that we could hear Gordon Ramsey screaming from the kitchen. Unfortunately...
Read moreUnfortunately, I have no experience to share other than the service, that was literally non-existing. When we sat at the table outside, all the tables were set, the menu panel displayed in front of the restaurant, and two other tables were already occupied by guests waiting to be served. There was absolutely no sign that the restaurant was closed, or at least that the kitchen was closed in the afternoon (around 18:00h), like it often is in Italy. After 15 min. we got sick and tired of waiting, so we simply got up and left, as well as other guests who were there even longer than us. The restaurant being closed is not the issue here, but not informing the customers about it is, especially when the Google maps say it is available, which is a rather reliable and important source of information for travellers. Situations like this can sometimes really ruin your day, and leave a bad taste in your mouth, regarding the culinary experience Italy is...
Read moreWorst pizza I ever had in Italy! The lasagna and ravioli was average.
We ordered Primavera Pizza which didn't have any tomato sauce base. It was not properly baked and had just pieces of mozzarella cheese and tomato put on the top.
I was very disappointed with Pizzas as I can prepare a better pizza from scratch at home. I would suggest they use woodfire and bake the pizza accurately.
We also ordered lasagna which was average. The bechamel sauce was also not up to the mark. I have also baked a better lasagna at home.
They charged 9€ for 6 small pieces of coperto bread which usually comes complementary.
The Ravioli Porcini was hot and stuffed nicely with cheese. The mustard and tomato paste gave it a different taste.
There are many places nearby which offer much better food. I hope this helps the Kaisertube team.
I wish I never visited this place ever. We simply left the restaurant to satiate our appetite in...
