Continuing to reply to this thread of review is pointless. The restaurant has nothing but lose if they continue with this approach.

First of all, the 1 star for service is well deserved based on the very first sentence from your reply: Why would you care what my older reviews were?
Yes, my friends arrived earlier, but when we arrived, the restaurant was still half empty. Why does it matter if we had reservation or not? You had empty tables where we could sit, so we did. This is a win for you. I don't get why you keep mentioning that we didn't have a reservation.
You have in the menu "real carbonara" and in reality it is not spaghetti, it is some other type of short pasta, which is not the original version. Anyway, that really doesn't matter, they were very salty. The risotto had a very strong taste also.
My friend ordered soup and carbonara. The soup arrived together with our food, but for the pasta we waited forever. At some point, when we had enough we called the waiter. He said it was ready in 1 minute and then he brought it immediately. We found this a bit frustrating.
You say that if we didn't like it we should have left the food there. In what world do you live? Your food was very pricey, the portions small and the taste far from what they should. Who would spend some more time and money to go to another restaurant? An average person would just eat it and go home disappointed.
We came there, spent a lot of time waiting for the food, the portion was small and not tasty. And on top of this, it was the most expensive dinner we had in Canazei.
I expect quality when the price is high. That is my main source...

Partiamo dal positivo: il locale è molto bello e curato, arredato in stile industrial. Veniamo attirati dal fatto che sia una cicchetteria in montagna...un po' di Veneto in Trentino! La persona che serve ai tavoli (presumiamo il titolare) si mostra subito infastidito dalla presenza di nostro figlio di 18 mesi (è in braccio al padre e sta giocando con i tappi del centrotavola): glielo toglie di mano dicendo di aver già avuto brutte esperienze...mi sarei alzata immediatamente! Decidiamo di rimanere e ordiniamo due spritz e 3 cicchetti. All'arrivo del piatto con i 3 cicchetti (polenta e baccalà, tircle salsiccia e erbette di montagna e bruschetta con finferli) arriva la seconda battuta sul bambino: i bicchieri vengono messi lontano dal bambino per evitare danni! Il bambino non è mai sceso dalle gambe del padre e ha mangiato in tranquillità alcune patatine. Il prezzo di 10€ non vale la qualità delle materie e di cicchetti nemmeno l'ombra...Non è la dimensione che fa di un mignon un cicchetto! Ultima chicca: abbiano trovato addebitato sul conto 1.50€ per il coperto. Chiedo spiegazioni e mi viene detto che era scritto sul menù: per due posate in busta e un tovagliolo di carta! Non mi è mai capitato! La maleducazione del titolare, la qualità dei cicchetti e la sorpresa del coperto per un aperitivo non ci porteranno a tornare e, anzi, ci fanno propendere per una valutazione totalmente negativa. Abbiamo capito perché il locale era praticamente vuoto! Ultima cosa: l'American bar a fianco non fa pagare il coperto per l'aperitivo ed era pieno.
