Malga Roncac — Restaurant in Comun General de Fascia

I would like to give my compliments to the chef and absolutely award the food 5 stars. It was simply delicious.

However, I have to rate this place only 2 stars overall because of the disrespectful attitude of the lady waitress with short brown hair. We had made a reservation for three people two hours in advance. Only one of us was hungry and ordered two dishes; the others wanted to have only desserts. The waitress started blaming us, saying that “it’s not correct to come with a reservation and order only desserts.” Excuse me? Why shouldn’t I be able to order whatever I want?

When we made the reservation, no one mentioned that there were any such requirements. I understand that she might have forgotten to mention this during the phone call, but I cannot understand the way she treated us when we placed the order. Such an attitude is the level of a cheap diner, not a restaurant.

If the chef ever moves to another restaurant, I will definitely...

A very nice place with very good food and exceptional first course dishes. The staff and family are very welcoming and friendly. Maybe slightly over priced but perfectly in line with what you pay in the area. The toilets were immaculate and table service quick and accurate. I would suggest you book before 830 as the place is small but very comfy. I also suggest you reserve a table in advance.....we booked for 8 o'clock the week before. Only drawback is getting there since you need to know your way. Two routes available either from Soraga or Moena. I suggest you walk there maybe the day before so you can see the route first hand. One last thing, be careful that Moena town centre is closed to traffic after a certain time in the peak months, like...

Direi che questo ristorante sia il migliore in assoluto che io abbia visitato insieme a mia moglie Alessia e nostra figlia Matilde di tutti i luoghi in Trentino e di posti belli ne abbiamo visti parecchi, la malga risulta sin da subito avvolgente, calda, armoniosa, piena di amore e passione per quello che si fa. La padrona di casa Sig. Rosy ha una grandissima vocazione per questo mestiere e ti fa sentire davvero a tuo agio con la sua squisita gentilezza, dolcezza e lunghissima esperienza. La cameriera che ci ha servito al tavolo "Asia" una ragazza davvero meravigliosa e molto carina, che dispensa con tanta generosità il suo sorriso bellissimo insieme a tanta gentilezza e professionalità che ti predispone sin da subito a stare al meglio. Squisite le pietanze, fra le quali vorrei consigliare lo stinco con le patate saltate che era davvero buonissimo con un sughetto delizioso sul fondo piatto... Costicine con funghi e rosty di patate e ravioli ripieni di spinaci e burro fuso davvero buonissimi... Un'altra nota di merito va sicuramente ai dolci, coppa gelato al fior di latte con lamponi caldi e panna montata "imperiale" e sbriciolata con lamponi "dolce fuori menù del giorno" da gustare lentamente boccone dopo boccone.... Cabernet in "caraffa" che sapeva di genuino e di buon vino prodotto artigianalmente... Un altro voto positivissimo alla selezione musicale in sottofondo che ci ha accompagnato per tutta la cena davvero accurata... E per finire ma non per ultimo il caffè servito sul balcone con la vista eccezionale di Moena... che dire la classe non si compra. Concludo la mia recensione facendo i complimenti alla cuoca appena intravista sulla porta della cucina e facendo un'altra nota di merito per i servizi igienici pulitissimi e davvero molto, molto belli... Prezzi davvero adeguati e onestissimi per quanto servito. Dimenticavo di segnalare che all'interno di questo ristorante si coglie immediatamente la presenza di una bellissima clientela. Complimenti ancora e lunghissima vita alla Malga Roncac con l'augurio di potervi tornare...
