After a lousy experience in Canazei, we were starving and so we randomly chose the next place on our route, according to Google maps. It's on the main road, with a private parking lot and a beautiful spacious terrace in front. The waitress came immediately and led us to our table. We ordered pizza Tirol (a little bit dry) and Dolomites which was excellent, with fresh (not canned) mushrooms, cheese, tomato sauce and smoked ham (or prosciutto?). Both pizzas were pretty large, but the dough was thin as well as the crispy crust around the edge, so it wasn't hard to clean the plate 😉. The prices are a bit high, but still more or less the same as in other similar places in the region. Even if the food is a bit overpriced, the whole experience is just worth it, especially when you're hungry, tired and have a long way ahead. The restaurant is cozy and nicely decorated, well maintained and perfectly clean, especially the bathroom 👍. The staff speak English surprisingly well, so the communication was not the problem at all. I gladly recommend this place, they truly represent good Italian food, ambient and hospitality many other restaurants we've visited so far should look...
Read moreIf you are used to italian cuisine and expect a tasty pizza, this is not the place. Comparing to other restaurants nearby, this is a good place, but only because there are few restaurants avaialble and those serve similar tasteless food. The pizza looks good and is big enough to feel full, but the taste overall was very general (I couldn’t see big differences between different types of pizza). The ingredients were mostly canned (for example the capriciosa had canned mushrooms and artichocke, thus no specific taste). I also order a mediteranean salad, but it was too expensive for the quality. It cost 13€ and it had tomatoes, green salad, 1 small egg and some tasteless mozzarella (which looked more like cheap packaged cheese than real...
Read moreI came here with my family on suggestion from a friend and I'm very glad I did. The place is very nice with a lot of stuff inside. There are hundreds of things like masks, pictures, cards, objects, even rock with fossils, basically everywhere. But the most important "attraction" (if we can call it in this way) is the pizza. These are huge but also very thin and light. Perfect to digest. I was worried that my kids couldn't finish them... maybe was the mountain air, but even my 3 years old one ate all his portion. The combination of flavours are fantastic and there is a lot of choices. We really enjoyed the lunch and our pizza and we are all looking forward to...
