Ristorante Pizzeria Le Giare — Restaurant in Comun General de Fascia

We’ve had a nice evening in this restaurant. The menu card was clear and the translations were very good. There were a lot of original dishes.

We ordered the lamb, which was amazing. It had a lemon jam and tender meat. And it had a crumb of lamb liver, it was sublime. We also ordered pasta filled with figs, ravioli with ricotta and tartare. The portion size was good and the presentation was very nice.

We also had some simpler dishes like te pizzas and a burger, these were also very nice.

For desert we ordered some classic dishes like the chocolate souflet and creme brûlée (with lemon tones). But we also had an amazing merengue dish with chocolate crumble underneath (in the picture) and a crema cota with passion fruit.

The service was good, but the order in which they gave us the dishes was confusing. Some were ready with eating their main dish while others still were waiting for...

I guess everyone has a different experience. Unfortunately a series of things went wrong tonight. There was a long wait for our food, other tables that arrived later got their dishes earlier than us. The Vellutata that cost €17 was not really a Primi piatti, but more like a starter, a quite pricy one. There is a picture of it in one of the comments from 1 year ago and it doesn’t look anything like that anymore. Even the waiter called it “zuppetta” (small soup) when it took the plate. Instead the “piatto unico”, (with pork, canederli, polenta and sauerkraut) cost €21, which is a right price but just grow even more the doubt about the soup. Last but not least, my little soup arrived a lot before my partner meal, so we had our meal separately… we didn’t received any sorry from the waiters. Sad cause the...

Allora premetto che vado in questo locale da anni io e la mia famiglia...ma ho trovato un ambiente diverso molto commerciale poco familiare e molto freddo...faccio presente che il locale mette fuori una locandina grande con la descrizione dei piatti migliori...e su questa c'era fra i tanti piatti Agnello con carciofi ...dato che la mia compagna va pazza per i carciofi si ordina io uno stinco di Maiale e lei quello . Arrivano dopo un po' i piatti e vedevo che la mia compagna vedevo che cercava nel piatto ..a quel punto gli ho chiesto cosa facesse e lei mi fa notare che di carciofi non c'era neanche l'ombra...c'erano due piccoli pezzetti ma due di numero di asparagi..a quel punto chiamo e chiedo spiegazioni al cameriere e lui con fare normalissimo mi dice a si c'è stato un errore sul menu e non lo abbiamo cancellato...cosa che invece anche fuori c'era in bella vista lo stesso piatto ...Allora non ho detto nulla per non creare discussioni che tanto non sarebbero servite perché ho capito che questo locale usa fare questo giochetto...ma la mia domanda poi Viene girata nella parte finale a chi fa cassa che a sua volta chiama il propietario che sapete cosa fa? Chiama il povero cameriere e accusa lui di non aver tolto dal menù quel piatto..e insistendo nel dire che era un errore di stampa e non curandosi del fatto che la mia compagna non avesse mangiato quello ordinato e quello che si era pagato...alla fine voleva offrire la grappa quando ha visto benissimo che gia l'avevo presa e già anche pagata .. Cara le Giarre non è così che si mantiene la clientela che ti ha portato a fare il locale più grande e famoso...perché si fa presto a tornare indietro...fate attenzione e curate di più il cliente come facevate prima..e non pensate che tanto oramai siete sempre pieni e quindi qualche cliente alla fine si può anche perdere ...vero?
