Staff really unpleasant and unwelcoming

We came in this restaurant many times as they do really amazing Pizzoccheri. This morning we decided to come for breakfast.

The lady who was working today (3sep) in morning was really really really unpleasant and unwelcoming and so unprofessional.

She complained that we set in a table that has to be clean, even tho was the only nice table left and that's why we choose it. She said that because of our choice now she will take more time to take our order. Sorry but has anyone of us told you anything? Complained? No. So keep you comment and frustration for yourself.

After 30 seconds she came back to take our order and when we asked what was left for breakfast and if was possible to have also toast or any sandwich she put her eyes in the sky and answer that if we need sandwich she need to go get us the menu, as this was very hard for her. Menù doesn't supposed to be brought before we even ask?

To conclude, we left the restaurant without even ordering anything because her way really upset us. She act like she owns the restaurant and she's making us a favor to serve so we did not want to leave even one euro to this place anymore. Train your people to be kind...

I don’t recommend this place at all.

In short: unprofessional staff and overpriced food that doesn’t match its quality.

A longer explanation: The staff were chatting in front of us about how many people we were and where to seat us. I ordered fresh juice, but the waitress asked her colleague if the machine had already been cleaned. Since it had, they simply told me they didn’t have fresh orange juice.

We weren’t very hungry, so we ordered an antipasto to share and two Caesar salads. The salad was horrible—there was basically nothing in it, just three tiny pieces of chicken and some cabbage (or whatever it was). I pointed out that this is not how a Caesar salad is supposed to be, and it was definitely not worth 14 euros. I could go on and on about how bad it was…

I guarantee you’ll find many nicer...

Had a really nice light lunch. Someone need to update working hours as I came here again at 17.00 and the place was closed, opposite to what google maps say. About my experience: At 14.30 the kitchen was already closed, so they had only toasts and salads. Being overfilled with pizza in a last days I decided to go with a something lighter and took a salad and wasn't disappointed, they customized my salad as well by adding some cheese as I requested, and also the bar is very flexible, even though they didn't have it in menu, they made me nice mint tea with lemon and actual fresh mint, which is rare here, since most of places serve coffee, and you can find only simpliest packet tea. They also have a bit of variety for herbs...
