The only good thing about this restaurant was the pizza and good prices. I'm not Italian, so eating a good Italian pizza was heavenly. Otherwise the service was disastrous. As we arrived we were quickly seated at our table, we waited for a very long time and no one got the menus for us. I got up and asked for the menus. Since we spoke English the waitress didn't understand me, i saw the menues and tried to get one myself, but the waitress made a gesture with her hands not to touch them. I went back to our table and they got the menus for us. We ordered the food. Our drinks came, but no glasses. It took us three quaters of an hour waiting to get 4 glasses, i got up to ask for the glasses x3 times and nothing. We also ordered juice which we never got, but was included on our bill. The pizzas are delicious and prices are good. The location is great with waterfront and restaurant nice and beautiful. One star is missing because first of all we were not told that they were serving only pizza and drinks when we walked in Ana not full kitchen, yet, we were not allowed to sit outside since we were eating. Part could be the language as the waitress didn’t speak good English, but she gave us the option of two tables inside of a big empty restaurant that just opened, she didn’t let us pick a table by the opened window, when we left an hour later, the inside dining area had only two tables occupied. People sat outside had pizzas. When we were placing our orders, they told us we only can order pizza, as they start serving the rest at 7 not 6. Abbiamo dato a questo locale fin troppe possibilità.

📍 La nostra prima esperienza risale a tre anni fa:

Una pizza davvero pessima, probabilmente una delle peggiori mai mangiate.

📍 Giugno 2024:

Ci torno con i colleghi e la classe di terza media per festeggiare la fine degli esami. Preciso che la scelta del locale non è dipesa da me né dai colleghi, ma dai genitori degli alunni. Il servizio è stato pessimo: le pizze sono arrivate dopo 45 minuti dall’ordinazione e a scaglioni. C’è stato chi finiva di mangiare mentre qualcun altro iniziava solo in quel momento. Esperienza deludente, soprattutto considerando che era una serata importante per i ragazzi.

📍 Poco prima della primavera 2025:

Torniamo per un semplice aperitivo, ma ci viene detto che non fanno più aperitivi. Scelta a dir poco discutibile per un locale con terrazza, soprattutto in quella stagione in cui un aperitivo all’aperto sarebbe perfetto.

📍 Giugno 2025: L’esperienza peggiore.

Chiedo cortesemente se fosse disponibile un tavolo per due adulti e una bimba di un anno. Un cameriere gentile ci stava già accompagnando, ma poco dopo arriva (forse il proprietario?) e ci dice che è tutto esaurito. Peccato che diversi tavoli fossero visibilmente liberi, senza alcun segno di prenotazione. Siamo andati via. Ma io, testardo, mi sono fermato in disparte. Poco dopo arriva altra gente: per loro, come per magia, un tavolo è disponibile.

Come se non bastasse, all’ingresso principale del locale c’è un cavalletto con la scritta ben visibile: “Accesso sull’altro lato”. L’ingresso principale è quindi sbarrato. L’unico modo per accedere è da un’entrata secondaria, che porta direttamente sul terrazzo. Per entrare bisogna salire una scaletta in ferro stretta e scomoda, chiaramente fuori normativa e assolutamente inadatta alle famiglie.

Io ho dovuto prendere in braccio mia figlia e salire la scaletta, mentre mia moglie ha dovuto chiudere il passeggino e caricarselo in spalla, oltre a portare la sua borsa e quella di nostra figlia. Una situazione scomodissima e decisamente pericolosa.

Spero almeno che per chi, purtroppo, è costretto a muoversi in carrozzina o ha problemi di disabilità, venga consentito l’accesso dalla porta principale. Diversamente sarebbe semplicemente vergognoso.

Peccato, davvero. Le possibilità gliele abbiamo date, ma a questo punto direi basta.
