Ristorante Pizzeria Lido 2.0 — Restaurant in Comunità Montana del Piambello

We walked in on Friday night and surprisingly they had a table. Most likely it’s because they have a large one of outdoor terrace, which can fulfill the demand. Anyway we enjoyed both the ambiance and F&B dining experience.

SERVICE One of the best service I have ever received in Italy. Friendly staff, flexible on accommodating customer’s requests. In specific we asked to move table near by the lake. No available free tables (all booked), after 2 minutes the waiter (apologies I don’t know the name but I took a picture) offered to move literally our table near the shore. So he lifted the table and moved it there. Guests satisfaction 100%

FOOD We didn’t order pizza despite the extensive pizza menu. We went for cozze, large portion and juicy. Spaghetti with vongole Perfectly cooked al dente pork belly Nice and soft. Note it has no side dishes octopus Nice presentation but our least favorite among the 4 dishes. Too creamy for our taste.

Went there again after very poor experience last year. Same disaster - left after we waited for more than 90 minutes for the pizza we ordered, seemed they did not even start to prepare it. All the staff is unfriendly arrogant and unpleasant. The owner / manager insisted we MUST pay for the pizza they never served to us and basically started screaming at us. She wanted to charge us coperto although we did not get any food served. Terrible experience, left hungry, frustrated and unhappy - will never set foot in it again - ZERO stars! Not recommended. Ristorante stupendo, ben arredato, struttura nuova ben organizzata, vista lago con tavoli quasi sulla riva, spettacolare oserei definirlo quasi un locale da rivista....ma...purtroppo abbiamo avuto un piccolo problema, locale con gente , ma non esageratamente affollato, all' arrivo non veniamo informati né che la1 pizzeria non è attiva né che ci sarà da aspettare per mangiare. Il menù si presenta con poca scelta di carne , il mio compagno opta per una pizza e solo in quel momento ci dicono che non è possibile. Chiediamo un antipasto sardo , un primo e un fritto. Dal momento dell' ordine , all' arrivo in tavola dell' antipasto ( salamino e formaggio) passano quasi 40 minuti, un tempo esagerato di attesa e consideriamo il fatto che abbiamo sollecitato il piatto due volte , la risposta è stata che era strano che non eravamo stati avvisati della lunga attesa. Fatto sta che altre persone hanno reclamato e ci siamo detti che sicuramente le altre pietanze sarebbero arrivate da lì a un ora . Alla fine abbiamo preferito bloccare il tutto e andarcene, non avevamo tutto questo tempo a disposizione. Sicuramente il posto è incantevole e il cibo buono, ma questo non posso dirlo, visto che non ho mangiato.

RISPOSTA AL PROPRIETARIO: Visto che non ha lasciato possibilità di risposta al suo commento le scrivo qui. Abbiamo reclamato ben 3 VOLTE ai camerieri e sinceramente pensavamo che fosse stata avvisata, se non lo hanno fatto è un suo problema di gestione e comunicazione personale .
