Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing. We had to wait an unusually long time for our food, and when it finally arrived, things only got more frustrating.

I ordered prosciutto con melone, and what I received was a single small piece of melon just sitting on top of some pale prosciutto. When I asked about it, the staff told me they had run out of melon. They offered to bring me something else instead, so I asked for a simple salad.

However, five minutes later, they returned with prosciutto con melone again — this time with more melon pieces — explaining that they had “found” some. By that point, the inconsistency was already disappointing.

There were also several issues with the table setup: the cutlery was mismatched, one of the forks had clearly been bent and straightened, and even the drinking glasses didn’t match.

As for the food, the tagliatelle were overcooked and served with a watery sauce — far from what you’d expect at an Italian restaurant.

As I walk around the lake of Porto Ceresio looking for a good restaurant to eat with my mom, I saw from this restaurant some old ladies coming out. Traditional, pure Italian cuisine prepared with love and dedication by two sisters and their families.
