La trattoria del tempo perso — Restaurant in Comunità Montana del Piambello

Arrivati a Porto Ceresio domenica 5 novembre alle 13,15, ho chiesto se c'erano 2 posti. Locale piccolo ed accogliente, gestito da madre e figlia. Rispondono, si, sono disponibili, all' aperto! ma? Mi sento dire che la cucina chiude alle 14, va bene, nel frattempo arrivano altri clienti, che pongono la mia stessa domanda ed hanno la medesima risposta. Ci accomodiamo, tempo di poter ordinare e sono già le 13,45, mi viene maggior ansia quando ricevo una chiamata ed un amico mi dice che mi raggiungerà a breve, per cui, chiedo di avere un posto in più. Risultato? Ci spostano da dove eravamo perché in tre davamo fastidio (a chi?), nel frattempo si dimenticano non solo di portarci ciò che avevamo ordinato, ma anche di servire la pietanza per un bambino seduto con i genitori ad un tavolo vicino. Si scusa la cuoca, dicendo che si era dimenticata del bambino! Pagano il conto e se ne vanno. Arriva l' amico (h14,00) che chiede un filetto. Buono, cotto giusto!...come desiderato 20' dopo (sono le 14,30 circa) ....Morale: 2 primi, molto easy, (ravioli ricotta e spinaci con burro fuso e tagliolini al tartufo), 3 secondi (uova al tegamino troppo cotti con polvere di tartufo e filetto cotto al sangue) acqua e 1/4 di vino, un tiramisù e 2 fette di torta mela e limone (insipida,ottima la frolla) . Il conto 172€, alle mie rimostranze si accorgono di avermi fatto pagare il coperto 32€, ( 3x2€=32) i restituiscono 32€ in contanti! (Ci hanno provato?)Servizio scadente, da migliorare, accoglienza lascio a Voi il giudizio...non siamo stati fortunati, ma lì non ci metterò certo più piede! Peccato...almeno un po' di sole l'...

Very good food with very friendly staff. This is a female owned business with a mother-daughter duo. The daughter is a very vibrant and cheerful woman that, without hesitation, translated the entire menu in English for us.

They even produce their own honey made from bees kept on the mountainside!

The dishes were well balanced in flavor and texture and I was very impressed. Usually I like to try several places in the area(s) that we are staying - - but this is one we will go to a few times...

I can not say enough about our dinner here. Everything was so good from start to finish. We just stopped in after a late arrival to town, they sat us for dinner, translated the menu and gave us excellent descriptions of the dishes and where the ingredients came from.
