I booked for a dinner for 3 people, 2 weeks in advance. We came on purpose for this restaurant, me and my husband with a young son, all the way from Brusaporto (40 min ride by car). When we arrived at the restaurant at the booking hour (8pm), the waitress said she couldn't find our booking. When I showed her the discussion on Instagram, including a clear confirmation from the restaurant, she said it must have been her colleague who took the reservation, that she herself never got the booking, that the colleague in question was in Spain at the present time, and that they were fully booked. She seemed unfazed about the whole situation, the spirit being "tough luck, people". We've found ourselves with no place to go for dinner, hungry, in cold weather, with a taxi scheduled for 2 hours later. We ended up finding a restaurant where we were able to eat, but the whole experience left us with a very...
Read moreWe visited here as a group of 4 on our last night in Iseo, the service and location was lovely. It didn’t however make up for the tasting menu we had. I think this restaurant is best suited to locals who are used to eating the particular local dishes, ie the raw beef, cow tongue and rabbit which are not popular dishes in the UK. We did try each dish and we were sad to not be able to finish the dishes because the waitress really was lovely and tried to help suggest other dishes but I think the big bit of bone in the rabbit finished it off for us and we just needed to get the bill and leave. Sorry it just...

The atmosphere of the restaurant is really lovely, in a quiet piazza just off the main road. The service is friendly, professional, and attentive. The food of course is the true star of the show. Forget the heavy traditional bresciana kitchen of polenta and meat, these are sophisticated dishes in which the chef uses local ingredients, especially fish from the lake, to create unique taste combinations. My absolute favourites were the primo sale with watermelon and beetroot, and the lake carbonara. For us it’s a 5/5, we will...
