Dropped by this amazing restaurant on our way to Dolomites.

First, I’d like to start by commending our amazing server. I couldn’t catch her name but the young lady was so kind and sweet and spoke perfect English. Although it was found over Google maps but her greeting was enough to make us feel welcomed and be sure of our choice.

The food is simply superb here. We were a group of 4. Had cheese plate with their cucumber mint jam which was just great. I have never tried a jam in this combo and it really surprised me pleasantly.

I had duck (as seen in the picture) it was very nicely cooked and the chards were a great side.

My partner ordered Steak and it was one of those rare occasions where a medium rare steak was cooked to perfection.

Other folks had their rabbit Ragout pasta and fried cheese balls. Needless to say they were also top notch.

And to top it all of we ordered Apple cake and coconut crème brûlée. Both the deserts were brilliant and you can see we left no traces of that mind blowing crème brûlée and raspberry sorbet.

Drinks wise we ordered Rose which was also really good wine.

All in all it’s a gem in the city of Tirano. If you are ever in the area don’t miss eating here. You will love...

Visited 12 June 2025 Had no reservation as one night stay in Tirano to catch Bernina Express Female Waitress with ponytail assisted us myself ,spouse & daugther She was very impatient rude not sure if we were tourist hence her attitude our order was taken by a very nice young man and delivered by her after a very long wait food was ok green salad I had was average however my daughter enjoyed her meal Waited very long for our bill despite asking this waitress for it more than once she simply ignored us I had to get up and walk over to the gentleman at the bar to request for the bill and he gladly said will get her to bring it In no time she came with the bill with no apology This was our first meal in Italy and happy to say every other eating experience we had in Italy from the North to the South Venice Rome to Como Milan was excellent and so was the other meals in Tirano restaurants right at the station welcoming friendly and so much cheaper Maybe our order was too basic or we had too many questions on the menu replying to update saying might have incorrect restaurant had 1 green salad and 3 pastas loaded photo of pasta still admired...

The food was overall well cooked but lacking a bit of flavor in some areas. There is a notice that you will be charged for the bread per person but if you don't eat it then that charge becomes a service charge per our server. She did remove 2 euros of the 5 added to the total even though the bag was unopened. We asked about drinking tap water and were refused saying the water was not drinkable. We know that to be untrue as the water in this town is perfectly fine. It is just an opportunity for them to sell you a bottle of water for extra profit perhaps the laws are orchestrated for such. We tried to order two different set menus but were told it might be too much for us to eat so our server suggested adding an addtional starter to the larger menu and then splitting one between the two of us. This did work OK even though I did actually eat the entire pork portion myself instead of sharing it. All the conversations were in English so there was not a translation problem...
