a beautiful evening ruined by this place - don't go there!

starters (salads and plates) were super overprized, meaning the portions were very small and not particular tasty. when reordering drinks - the waiters brought only parts of the order. when asking for the second time "for the second beer", the waiter became very rude, saying we're at fault for not speaking perfectly itialian. when asked to talk in english, she started insulting us that we either have to speak espagnol or italian.

the order of the main dishes got forgotten - when we approached the manager at the bar we were told it's our fault that we have to wait over an hour because we had starters. after that the food was on the table within minutes. this is a statement for the freshness of the menus - they're only warmed up. nothing was fresh, everything tasted mediocore or simply bad.

I recently dined at this restaurant, and to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. It's evident that there's a lack of effort and dedication from their kitchen. How does one mess up something as basic as a Caesar salad? Every single ingredient tasted store-bought, and to top it off, even the croutons weren't freshly made. That's just ludicrous! Moving on to the Carbonara, they used cheap store-bought bacon instead of the authentic guanciale, completely ruining the dish's authenticity and flavor. The tortellini was an even bigger letdown, served without any filling. As for the beer, it was just passable. Given my experience, I'd strongly advise avoiding...

Stopped with my wife en route from Riva del Garda towards Milan. It was the only place open at the time we passed so decided to give it a go. The lady that was serving us seemed very aggressive and not at all interested in providing a warm welcome, prices were higher than in most places we visited during our time around Lake Garda and unfortunately not for good reason. We ordered minestrone soup that tasted like it came from can and tagliatelle with mushrooms - it was pretty tasteless, pasta was overcooked and mushrooms were very soggy. 2 stars for quick turnaround.
