Our experience here was absolutely brilliant, thanks to the great quality of the food, and our amazing waiter (although all of them were really nice), and the beautiful terrace of the restaurant. We arrived at about 7:30, and were seated in less than 2 minutes without a reservation, with a table for 4. We were initially given german menus, because apparently about 90 percent of the foreigners who visit are german, but our menu was quickly replaced to an english one. At first we ordered 2 pizzas, 1 risotto and one pasta, all of which were outstanding, with in my opinion perfect portions. The pizzas were extremely delicious, as we saw when we entered there was an actual fire oven for them, and they also tasted amazing. The risotto and pasta were also very well made. I still had a half empty stomach after my pizza, since I was extremely hungry before we arrived, so I got a primo plate for secondo, which was the seafood spaghettino, which I'd say was the best of all. A really full dish, with clams, prawns and 2 quite big crabs, and the sauce had a really intense and real seafood taste. After all of us were completely full, we asked for the bill, and our waiter asked if we were Hungarian, which he knew just from us talking at the table, because as it turned out, he and his brother-in-law, were both Romanians, who actually opened the restaurant a year ago (that also explained why we saw Unicum on the menu, a hungarian specialty). Overall the experience was perfect, and I hope to visit again soon and have another great talk...
Read moreWe loved the atmosphere there, we enjoyed our dinner at the terrace. Service was very good, the only thing I didn't like about it was that we were given german menu by mistake. Food was quite good. Avocado and mango in a salad could have been more ripe, tagliatelle al ragu was deliciuos. House wine was perfect. Frittino misto was not what I expected it to be. I thought that it will be a small portion of fried seefood and veggies, but the fried goods turned out to be very greasy and salty fried batter with just a little bit of chopped veggies. I don't even recognised the vegetables. Maybe some small pieces of zucchini and carrot, like shredded into the batter? We wanted to try pizza, but didn't have enough time. Next time I'm here I would definitely give it a try one more time. Please, do the fritto misto correctly and do not scam anyone else. You can do better and definitely have...
Read more2025- Was slightly disappointed when we revisited this restaurant recently as it has transformed into a pizzeria. The pizzas are excellent but there is so much more to Italian food. The pizza menus, even the "English" ones, are also mostly in German which made ordering hard. There is a good evacuation plan for rainy weather and the atmosphere is still good. If you are looking for a pizza meal out I'd still recommend. Book in advance as it can get busy. 2yrs ago- Love this restaurant really good food excellent service and a new enterprise for the owners which deserves to do well. The sardines were fresh and delicious. The champagne risotto was superb. The wine is lovely and the service attentive without being intrusive. Would...
