Big disappointment. Me and my husband went to this restaurant on our cycle trip around Lake Garda. We both love good food and wine that’s why we chose this restaurant. Knowing we are not looking the nicest we approach the restaurant’s outside seating. We were excited to taste the house wine and a pasta with burrata and basil. We normally share one meal when we on the bikes. As we do not want to be full and we still had 50 km to go. When the waiter heard our order he got really upset and forced us to leave with words “we are not a bar we are a restaurant”. We do not know what happened and we also spot the waiter’s unpleasant reaction when we were choosing our seat. Really delicious food, we had the fish five course dinner and would highly recommend to anyone staying in Lake Garda. It was very good value for money and I got to taste fresh fish from the Lake. You could tell the fish was fresh alongside the matching wine and the service was impeccable. Perhaps as we visited during quiet season that the restaurant was empty, but this hidden gem just off the main road through Toscolano Maderno deserves to be recognised as one of the top destinations in Lake Garda. We arrived less then 30 minutes before the oficial closing time for lunch, the waitress didnt seem interested in letting us in, however her manager took charge and had us seated. The waitresses service was without interest. She didnt seem happy working. Its a pity for the place.
