One word: Fantastic We have been to many good restaurants also guide michelin stared, but this was one of a kind. The restaurant is located in a lovely old building and everything just looks great. It is family owned and run by three generations (Nonna in the kitchen and mother and daugther in the service). The service was perfect and very warm. La Tortuga is hospitality at its finest. Orietta is a perfect host, her mother is a superlatively good chef and her daughter is a very professional waitress. From the moment you arrive at the jewel like space you feel enveloped by a sense of love and care that extends to all aspects of the experience. The food is very refined and they have a great wine selection. I would especially recomend the linguine with fish ragu and the zabaglione, both of which were memorable. Expensive but great value. We visited the place with our extended family, we got served with a four course menu, which were very delicious. Each course was well presented, creative and tasted excellent. The restaurant deserves its Michelin star well and there should be potential for more.

Everything was perfectly arranged and tasteful balanced food, together with the wine selection. Service was smooth, efficient and ever-present.
