Easiest 5 star review ever. Simply one of the nicest dinners we’ve had in a long time. Orso Grigio is pure passion, joy and taste. Creative dishes are accompanied by wonderful wines and absolutely fantastic staff.

We had the 6-course tasting menu and were served by Julia and the sommelier Allesandro who from start to finish made us feel welcome and at ease, clearly enjoyed their job, were quick with a laugh or a joke and were extremely knowledgeable. It’s so refreshing to see staff that is committed and feels like they want to be there. Thanks so much Julia and Allesandro (and your third colleague whose name we didn’t catch!).

The food shows that the chef spent time in Copenhagen and Australia/NZ while staying true to his Cavalese roots. Clean, unique and beautiful dishes packed with flavor that bring a smile to your face. Sharing plates to start, with fresh foraged wild mountain herbs, local ingredients and showing refined techniques. Luca himself served several of our dishes and was generous in his explanations and answering our questions, which gave us a better understanding of what is required to present food like this.

Ristorante Orso Grigio is a hidden gem in the Val di Fiemme region. Food is sourced locally and cooked to perfection. Service is second to none. Alessandro, the sommelier, provided some great wine pairing recommendations and is very knowledgeable. They have a superb wine list.
