First visit of Lake garda ! Written by person who is working in the same profession. We got there around 6 pm. Such a gem in the whole province that you can not miss !! Welcomed by the lady who owned the place which u can’t see in many places, its very rare ! She did speak only Italian but how adorable and respectful is this it have honestly melted my heart 🥹❤️ We didn’t have booking we had no idea what to order but we came there by a recommendation of our most respected chef back in Poland. We was amazed by the service that we had received by all staff but our waiter Hazem was there at every step of the experience. Very welcoming, helpful, friendly and with a humor. If you want to know how you should be treated in a restaurant just go there I can’t explain words are not enough finally felt like the service charge was worth it and I would have been ashamed if I haven’t paid it ! If I was back home ( Uk 🇬🇧) I would have nominated this place for Michelin star!!! For a starter they give you I believe focaccia Bread (pls correct me if I’m wrong) ? 😁 bread sticks local olive oil and grape balsamic vinegar. When u mix those two together on the plate and dip the bread in it you can taste the real thing made by locals which you can see on the mountains surrounding riva del garda Believe me Hazem was on point and he was looking after us very well he would have not let us pour wine ourselves and so did other stuff ( I’m really sorry I didn’t catch your name Ronaldo fan 🙈who was also a bartender with good experience which I’m really jealous of !)
We had spaghetti bolognese ( a classic of course you can imagine I’m picky person but I did have little bite of the other plates)
Pork medallions in a herbs crust, with Gorgonzola (blue - cheese) and beer sauce (was mouth melting 😋)
Thin slices of grilled raw beef with beans (special local spicy meat) ( I have never had beef taste that good)
And white wine [ I Frati Lugana ]which was between dry and sweet, accompanied by a still water of course. (You won’t regret it )

The wild mushroom risotto was nothing short of perfection—creamy, rich, and bursting with the earthy flavours of perfectly sautéed mushrooms, making it the best I’ve ever had. It felt like a dish crafted with love, straight from an Italian grandmother’s kitchen. And then came the homemade strudel, a dessert that could make you believe in magic. Crisp, buttery pastry encased sweet, spiced apples with pine nuts, and each mouthful was a delightful balance of warm, comforting flavours. It was the perfect ending to a sublime meal, leaving us craving just one more bite. As for the service, Mihail, our waiter, was attentive and charming. His warm demeanour and genuine passion for the food made the experience even more enjoyable. He was knowledgeable about the menu, quick with a smile, and had just the right amount of care and attention, making sure we felt pampered from start to finish. But the real cherry on the cake was the lovely elderly lady who bid us farewell at the end of the night. Unfortunately, I don't know her name, but her goodbye was one of the most heartfelt and sincere I’ve ever received. There was something about the way she spoke, a quiet grace that made you feel like part of the family, leaving you with a sense of comfort and warmth that lingered long after we left.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Leon D'Oro restaurant, and I must say, the experience was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we stepped through the door, our waiter Bahaa greeted us with a warm smile and exceptional customer service.
Bahaa was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. He patiently answered all of our questions and provided excellent recommendations. His passion for the food and his desire to ensure we had a wonderful dining experience were evident in every interaction.
The real highlight, however, was the incredible quality of the cuisine. We started with the seafood platter, which featured the freshest and most flavorful selection of the sea's bounty. The calamari was perfectly tender, the shrimp were juicy and succulent, and the entire presentation was both visually stunning and a true delight for the palate.
For the main course, we opted for the classic pizza, and it did not disappoint. The crust was perfectly crisp and chewy, and the toppings were generous and bursting with flavor. The balance of the ingredients was impeccable, and each bite left us craving more.
Overall, our dining experience at Leon D'Oro was exceptional, and a large part of that was due to the outstanding service provided by Bahaa. He truly made our evening special and elevated the already impressive cuisine to new heights. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a memorable and delicious...
