Acquarius Hotel Pizzeria — Restaurant in Crabonaxa/Villasimius

The worst dining experience I have ever had.

I came here with my wife and kids expecting a simple evening out, but it turned into a complete disaster. First, we had to wait 25 minutes just to get inside, which I could forgive. But then, we waited over 40 minutes for just TWO pizzas. By this point, our evening was already ruined — the kids were hungry, and so was I.

When I politely asked the waiter (the only male waiter working that night) how much longer our food would take, instead of answering, he started arguing with me, asking why I even came if I don’t want to wait and telling me I was “free to leave.” Not once did he try to explain or help, just insulted me and stared me down with a hostile attitude. I don’t know his name, but he was the only man serving tables — and he made our entire visit miserable.

This wasn’t just bad service — it was rude, unprofessional, and downright disgusting behavior. We left with our evening ruined and an awful memory instead of a nice family dinner.

If you value your time, money, and basic respect, avoid this place...

Passando davanti ho sempre visto tavoli occupati e persone in attesa, per questo mi sono detto che nonostante aver letto recensioni critiche si mangiasse bene, forse non all’eccellenza, ma degno di sosta. In fondo siamo in Italia e la pizza è un bene condiviso, di cui la ristorazione ne fa un vanto. Bastano poche attenzioni e qualità degli ingredienti e il risultato è garantito. Qui ne ho trovato l’eccezione, la peggior pizza che abbia mangiato. E non è la mia sola opinione, ma di tutti i commensali al tavolo, a riprova che non si è trattato di un incidente. Niente ha funzionato: pasta bassa, come non fosse lievitata, di conseguenza non croccante, e abbastanza insapore, crosta con cottura discontinua, metà nera bruciata e metà quasi non cotta (non viene curata nel forno?), lo stesso per gli ingredienti, manifestamente di bassa qualità e sapore industriale, probabilmente da supermercato. Il forno è a legna, ma non ci si accorge. E i dolci? Anche quelli di selezione industriale, evitati al primo sguardo del pieghevole. Siamo in Sardegna , che fatica si fa a proporre una selezione di dolci locali? Probabilmente x convenienza economica. Peraltro tutto il servizio è stato lento, le pizze sono arrivate al tavolo 50 min dopo che ci siamo seduti. Insomma, mi allineo con chi ha commentato “pizza da autogrill”, certamente fatta per il massimo guadagno e clientela (straniera?) di passaggio per lo struscio della zona pedonale. Naturalmente, come ho fatto io, potete ignorare il consiglio di evitarla e scoprire (pagando, i prezzi sono allineati, in qualche caso un po’ verso l’alto) come si fa a rovinare un...

We came here on our final night in town and it was the best meal we'd had! We sat outside in the lovely courtyard area which was great looking onto the street. We ordered a Pesto pizza and a carretiera which were both so good! The menu was extensive and had lots of different options, price wise it was very good, our total bill for 2 soft drinks and two pizzas was €25.50 which included a €4 cover charge which you should come to expect in most Italian restaurants.
