Ayaya — Restaurant in Crabonaxa/Villasimius

We went for dinner on a Tuesday and they let us sit although it was already 10pm.

The place itself is nice with tables in the garden and simple with a readable menu (not too many options to choose which is good).

Staff is lovely and they were nice regarding my cealiac situation and although they are not a certificated restaurant they have gluten free options (pasta too!).

I ordered the octopus salad which was : meh. Without taste and not much seasoning. The cooking of it was also a bit too soft. I also ordered the tuna with grilled vegetables. The tuna was ok-ish but came without any dressing. Grilled veggies were amazing! My friend took the pasta with bottarga,fresh tomato and mussels (Maccarones de Busa) which he said It was delicious!

A bit pricey for what you get and I don't know if It was for the dinner but the next morning I had stomach bug which wasn't a nice surprise!

In the menu is written that they use simple ingredients for a simple kitchen, maybe they should think about lowering their prices a bit ti...

Partiamo col dire che il locale è piccino, ma accogliente. Penso si possa definire un piccolo ristorante a conduzione famigliare. I gestori sono molto gentili, preparati, il servizio è piuttosto veloce e sono attenti a fare uscire i piatti contemporaneamente, quando si è in 2 o più; insomma i coperti sono pochi e quindi sono agevolati, ma devo dire che sono attenti a questa cosa. Sul cibo...si insomma, buono per carità, ma non ottimo. I primi sono ben fatti, ma forse un po indietro di cottura (la pasta fresca). I secondi ben preaparati ma forse troppo salati (per i miei gusti)(ma forse anche per chi soffre di ritenzione idrica). Il dolce proprio no, anni luce dallo stesso dolce provato in altri posti nei dintorni. I prezzi, beh, anche qui direi ahi ahi. Ho speso 91 euro per 1 antipasto, 2 primi, 2 secondi, 1 dolce e 1 caffè. Loro non fanno il tipico menu da Agriturismo e questo è il loro più grande difetto. Quando vado in un agriturismo di solito spendo 30/40 ma mangio e bevo una varietà e una quantirà di porzioni che in questo ristorante/agriturismo mi posso solo sognare. Un vero peccato, anche perchè in mia presenza i gestori hanno ricevuto diverse telefonate di persone che volevano prenotare, ma dopo la domanda "avete un menu?" e alla risposta "mi spiace, ma non facciamo menu"...beh questi rinunciavano a prenotare. E hanno fatto bene! Finchè non aggiungono un menu fisso, non posso consigliare al 100% questo locale, viste soprattutto le alternative che ci sono in zona. Per chiarezza, loro hanno un menu, ma si chiama "Menu Degustazione" decisamente strano, fatto da sapori che pochi aprezzano e non è un vero menu con tutto (caffe, dolce, amari e più porzioni di antipasti primi e secondi). Non so...sono rimasto deluso. Peccato, ma facilmente...

Pasta dishes were nice and tasty (culurgiones, ravioli, maccarones), pork in Cannonau wine reduction was good as well. Big disaster was Fritto Mare e Orto (minuscule shrimps, heavy, oily, no taste at all). Boths bottles of local produced wine (white and red) were good, service professional but nothing else. For a "family" restaurant I would expected more warm and...
