DOMUS RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Crabonaxa/Villasimius

The worst dining experience “ever”! That includes dining throughout Europe & North America. Service was terrible. Waiters were running around trying to service everyone. Extremely short staffed. Our waiter was sweating so profusely that sweat from his nose was dripping onto his ordering tablet. Our bread had to be set back because it was wet. Somehow it came in contact with water. We ordered two pasta with clams (one gluten free and one regular pasta). When they came I asked which was which? The server summonsed the waiter who summonsed the girl who brought the pasta and all three sat there scratching their heads like an episode of the Three Stooges. We sent both back. The regular pasta came back in about 15 minutes and then about 10 Minutes after that the gluten free pasta arrived except it wasn’t gluten free. We sent it back again and after almost hour and after everyone else had finished eating the gluten free arrive. Credit they didn’t charge us for that pasta. The washrooms were disgusting. No toilet paper, no toilet seats, no soap no drying towels! DISGUSTING! If I cooked rate in the negative integers I would give it a -5! If you’re thinking about choosing this place to eat don’t do it…run. On the positive the food tasted ok but both of the pasta clam dishes resulted in sever gut issues...

If I could give this horrendous restaurant 0 stars, I would. We ate here yesterday and wish we had read the reviews prior to going.

It was a completely understaffed restaurant with waiters flying around the restaurant not knowing which way to turn or go.

We ate upstairs on the “terrace” - the fans did not work, swelteringly hot, the bathroom had no soap, no toilet papar and no towels to dry your hands. We spoke to the manager who yelled at a waitress to address the issue, and no one did.

My wife ordered gluten free pasta and my father in law the same pasta dish but not gluten free. They brought two dishes out and then were confused as to which was which. They took them away and brought my father in laws and said they had to remake my wife’s as they were not sure. Then they brought hers out and it was NOT gluten free. She sat there waiting long after we had finished our meals. They finally brought her meal out but we were still not confident it was gluten free and so she did not end up eating at all.

This restaurant is a complete nightmare and I would STRONGLY advise you NOT to go here! It is disorganized, rushed, understaffed, and not prepared for guests. No one communicates with one another. One waiter was profusely sweating, it was disgusting to see as he brought out the food.

We were looking for a quick bit to eat and ended up at this restaurant. Whilst we were seated quickly, that is the only positive we had. We had to flag down the waiter to place our order, as we ordered food we then spoke of drinks to which he turned away and walked off. The lovely host that seated us realised about 40 minutes later that we hadn’t received our food - whilst he was checking the kitchen, the same waiter that originally took our order came over and asked if we wanted to order.. you can imagine our surprise when he told us we never apparently ordered. Fair to say we got up and left given multiple tables that arrived after us had already received their food....
