Ristorante Ragno Blu — Restaurant in Crabonaxa/Villasimius

So good we visited three times in one week - Così buono che abbiamo visitato tre volte in una settimana

This was our closest restaurant, so we tried it early in our holiday and were blown away by the stunning location with panoramic views all around the bay.

The food (mainly fish) was excellent, authentic, and top quality. We tried a wide variety and all were delicious. With four of us in the family we were able to sometimes share different dishes (the staff were happy to give us sharing plates).

Service is friendly, professional and we enjoyed a genuine warm Sardinian welcome. Really impressed by the lady waitress who filleted the cooked whole fish at the table.

Their wine list respects local wines and these were excellent. Ask for a recommendation if you are unsure which to choose, and I don't think you will be disappointed.

To those reviewers who complained about waiting for food I have to say this menu is all cooked to order from fresh ingredients, and the owners don't try to rush anyone out of the door. You're on holiday, so chill out. This is a relaxed place to savour wonderful seafood and fish, and it was so good we ate there three times in one week. What better recommendation...

Booked two weeks in advance to take my fiancé to catch the sunset at this restaurant's phenomenal viewpoint. Unfortunately we were seated in the service corner of the floor (with a lot of bus tray service) even though plenty of other with better views tables were available.

The fried Calamari were tasty but nothing to write home about (certainly nowhere on par with the best in the area). Same for the seafood ravioli, tasty but wholly forgettable. What really shone like a bright star were the spaghetti vongole and bottarga. Certainly a repeat order in my book for when I go back. If you can get those right, you're a proper Villasimius restaurant.

As per the fifth unassigned star... Maybe realize that if someone books a restaurant for sunset, they want to see the sunset. That was a completely unforced error. On top of that you ran out of sorbetto so early in the evening. Ma dai!

We couldn't be more pleased with this restaurant, the food is delicious, we ate here 3 times already, is so good! The fish is fresh, veggies well done, pasta as per italian excellence, great selection of delicious wines. The view to the sea makes it very sophisticated, all is very clean, and the service is excellent, all waitresses and manager are very lovely people, always happy and helpful, very patient, actually one of them cleaned the fish from bones for my partner with such a technique as if in Master Chef show. The atmosphere is elegant yet cozy, a perfect combination for you to eat in peace and joy. I strongly recommend "Spigola alla Vernaccia", quite unique taste. Bravo to this restaurant and thank you for the amazing experience.
