Wow, where do I even start? This was, hands down, the worst dining experience of our entire visit to Sardinia. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that this establishment had no interest in providing basic hospitality.
We were seated at a table with only one wine glass and no light, the only table without illumination in the entire restaurant. After asking twice for an extra glass and some light, we gave up and resigned ourselves to dining in the dark. We sat there for half an hour without a menu.
The ordeal continued as we repeatedly asked for menus. We watched as two other groups were promptly seated and given menus while we sat ignored. By the third request, a waitress with dark hair shot my friend a horrified look and shouted that she needed a minute.
At that point, we decided enough was enough and told them we were leaving. They simply shrugged and didn’t even bother to apologize for the appalling service.
The sheer rudeness and incompetence were beyond anything I've ever experienced. Thankfully, Sardinia is full of wonderful people and fantastic places to eat, so this disaster didn't ruin our holiday.
To anyone considering this place, save your hard-earned cash and go somewhere that values its customers.
UPDATE: my friend has been replied to on here, saying that the reason for the bad service is because we didn't reserve, and they were prioritising reservations. We did reserve and we arrived precisely on time. The below response highlights the incredibly poor attitude of the staff...
Read moreIf you said in your description that your business is a family friendly place, you shouldn't be telling off customers with children. Everything perfect until I guess the host arrived and served us. She seemed uncomfortable serving us because of our toddler who wanted to stand up. We went at 19:00 (the first to arrive) specifically to avoid crowds and bother other customers. We waited about 30 min, there were about 6 tables occupied at the moment she told off my wife because she was walking with my daughter. We are talking about a child of a year and a half, there are moments when they want to do so and believe me, we are very careful not to bother other people eating, something it didn't happen. I should have read the reviews before going, seems they have a problem with customer service. Talking about the food, we only tried the octopus before the bad experience, and it was pretty good. What a shame that great food turns into a bad experience because of the service. There was a guy who served us at the beginning, he was super nice and very detailed helping us with the menu. Do not go with kids. To the restaurant, please be honest and delete you are a family friendly place from your...
Read moreWent, but didn‘t eat. Everywhere in the Internet, says opening time 18:30. SIGN on the restaurant says opening time 18:30. So I show up around 18:45ish to make sure to get a table without a reservation (can be a problem around here). Entrance to restaurant blocked with rope, guy cleaning and laying the tables. So I think I‘ll give him a bit longer. Wait around. At 19:15 I finally ask whether they‘re opening. Lady from restaurant says, laughing, „Haha, yeah... it‘s still early.“ This is 45 minutes after the posted opening time. If you want to open at 19:30, open at 19:30 - a lot of places around here do. But don‘t post 18:30, and then give the potential guest, who was on time AND hung around for half an hour the feeling that HE‘S at fault, because he comes to eat to early. I had driven here on the recommendation of the hotel reception. But I clearly will not be making a...
