What an incredible culinary experience! From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed. There’s no set menu you simply eat what’s being served that evening and it was absolutely delightful! We enjoyed a beautiful variety of authentic Italian dishes along with some surprising local specialties. Everything was incredibly fresh and thoughtfully prepared. We had olives, caponata with anchovies, eggs with sardella, delicious potatoes with peppers, a heavenly parmigiana di melanzane, and for our main course we chose the spaghetti alle vongole which was simply perfect, all paired with a refined bottle of white Cirò wine. To top it all off we were treated to a tasting of several delicious amaro liqueurs. All of this, served with warmth care and a deep love for gastronomy of the owners Katherina & Luca. A true hidden gem in Crotone , a must-visit for anyone who wants to taste the real Italy!

A Truly Unique and Authentic Experience Wonderful experience! You sit down without knowing what kind of food you’ll be served — there’s no menu, and no one asks what you want. Even the wine comes with just two options: white or rosé. And then… the food just starts arriving — endless small portions of traditional Calabrian dishes, all made with love and incredibly tasty. But the most special part? You’re sitting in an inner courtyard in the heart of the centro storico, surrounded by everyday life. Neighbors pass through the shared courtyard, kids play nearby, cats wander around — it’s charming, vibrant, and deeply authentic. Our highest recommendation! Just one remark: if you’re vegan, this might not be the easiest place.

MUST VISIT IN CROTONE! The hosts and owners Katarina and Luca are such amazing people. They home cook fresh and local food everyday with a changing tasting menu of typical Calabrian food. We had a bottle of wine, water, the full tasting menu with appetizers and pasta and some digestives after and it came down to €85 in total for 2. The setting is absolutely stunning in this adorable little square in Crotone old town. I could not speak more highly of this passionate lovely couple. Oh and definitely book ahead because they only have about 5 tables.

Nestled in a quiet corner of Crotone, this unassuming little bistro is a true hidden gem that far exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality that set the tone for an unforgettable evening. The service was nothing short of exemplary—attentive, thoughtful, and effortlessly charming without ever being intrusive.

The culinary experience was a celebration of regional flavors at their finest. We were treated to a delightful array of appetizers, each one showcasing fresh, local ingredients prepared with remarkable skill and creativity. The main courses continued to impress with their depth of flavor and perfect execution, all beautifully paired with an outstanding selection of local wines that highlighted the richness of Calabria’s terroir.

The ambiance was equally remarkable—cozy yet refined, with an authentic charm that made us feel instantly at home. Whether you’re a local or a traveler seeking an authentic taste of Crotone, this bistro offers an experience that is both intimate and exceptional. A true testament to the passion and pride of its owners and staff, and without a doubt, a place we will return to at every...

Nessun menù, tutto a discrezione dello chef. Ci fidiamo.

Carbonara in Calabria?

Invece, ci siamo sentiti trattati come turisti ingenui.
