Me and my gf after a long day at the Beach we came Back to the hotel and decided to have a shower together as something usual, when sudendly the receptionist came running to our Room and asked us if she could check the backroom because there was a flooding on the floor bellow, we did not understand what happen but right after the Owner of the Hotel came knocking our door really hard, I was still in the shower when I heard him talking Loud to my gf and I jumped in and told him that we should not speak To us Like that (very unrespectuful) and then he got mad and started screaming even louder, we tried To understand Why it was our fault? As he said that he built the bathroom as its designed only for one person at the time To have a shower, isn't it crazy? I reply is your plumbing problem Why we should even disucuss this? He got even more upset, now screaming in Italian another friend of us (Italian) companion said that he was saying its our problem not To speak Italian, (not friendly with all foreigners)To end the story we left the hotel but the worst he dared to charged us the full day because the check out was until 12 after our discussion so get got away with that, we found a camping área right in from same price and 3 times better, in our last words we share with him he said that the situation does not affect him at all because people from all over the world loved his hotel ( very cocky). I can not give an you score because it does not exist something lower than zero, tks for reading and look some other Hotels around for sure with so much better...
Read moreThe hotel description on the web can lead you to the impression that it nearly is a "secluded garden".||Not so. It is located just at a rather heavily trafficated main road.||||Therefore, it is not the most super quiet of hotels. Not the noisiest either... We had rooms facing the back and a had a good nights sleep. The restaurant terrace, however, can't escape the traffic noise - if that's a factor for choosing hotel/restaurant.||||The place, although having quite some charm, has a - I wouldn't say sloppy - but slovenly feeling. It's quite worn here and there. And some "dust under the carpets" to put it mildly. That's ok, but to an extent.||The "spa area" is a tub in one end and a small cottage with a sauna in the other. In my opinion a spa should be clean to be attractive... so there is a thing or two to do here for the management.||||The rooms are ok with firm but sleepable beds. Spacious bathroom. AC working fine (but with the filthiest remote I've ever seen...).||||Parking in the back lot - a great plus.||||Breakfast fine with the proprietor offering eggs to order.||Staff is indeed very kind and nice, but the main thing is that the whole establishment is in great need of maintenance.||||And it is not particularly cheap.||So, I would look around in this area for options....
Read moreI think this place deserves an English review so it can be found by more people.||We went here on the 29th of June for my wife's birthday together with another family.||||The chef is proud of his food and if you would prefer the "normal" known Italian food (tourist) then you should not go here as he will more or less refuse your order - he is proud and he wants to provide true Italian food to you. I suggest you accept! ||||As we could not really decide what to go for we suggested he decide for us so he came with suggested starters and main course and it was a faboulous experience at a very modest price considered the very high quality. It was surely one of the best experiences in food during 2015.||||So, if you are prepared to take a step back and get a true food experience - go here, be friendly and nice and ask for his suggestions and then just enjoy! And yes, his suggestions on wine were all excellent as well.||||So, to sum it up: absolutely great place IF you are open-minded and can accept to skip the pizza or carbonara (so some tourist might want to stay away) at an...
