Napul'è Pizzeria — Restaurant in Empoli

I wish I could assign a rating lower than one star, but the lowest option available is just that. Our experience at this restaurant was absolutely dreadful, the owner was very abusive and violent. We were actually asked to leave because the wine served had gone bad, and when we politely informed the owner, he reacted with extreme hostility and was incapable of accepting any criticism. The quality of the pizza was shockingly poor in comparison to the delicious ones I've enjoyed in Rome and Naples. To be honest, Empoli offers much better dining options, such as Mammas Pizza. Furthermore, the owner's behavior was unsettlingly discriminatory, and his treatment of us was as if we were indebted to him for dining there. Pessima esperienza. Siamo andati a cena in questo posto e ci siamo ritrovati a discutere animatamente con il titolare. Abbiamo preso un antipasto, letteralmente 3 crocchette di patate e 2 fritattine di maccheroni, alle 8, orario della nostra prenotazione, ed è arrivato tutto subito. Dopo un'ora e oltre ancora le pizze però non arrivavano e invece erano già arrivate da tempo ad altri clienti che erano arrivati molto dopo di noi. Dopo aver detto al cameriere che se non sarebbero arrivate entro poco tempo ce ne saremmo andati e le pizze ancora non si vedevano, ci siamo diretti alla cassa per poi andarcene. A questo punto il titolare è venuto da noi alterato dicendo che eravamo stati maleducati e avevamo addirittura minacciato il cameriere solo perché gli avevamo detto che non potevamo più aspettare visto che era passata un'ora e mezza. Il titolare ha affermato che siccome noi avevamo preso un antipasto era giusto che le pizze arrivassero a tutti gli altri che invece non l'avevano preso, facendo passare avanti a noi almeno una decina di persone. Oltretutto ha affermato che noi avevamo messo fretta al cameriere e era stato costretto a fare prima le nostre pizze (quindi secondo lui evidentemente dovevamo mangiare ancora dopo) che giustamente ormai non volevamo più. Siccome il titolare continuava a discutere dimostrandosi davvero un maleducato, siamo stati costretti a pagare le pizze perché la discussione sarebbe durata all'infinito in quanto continuava ad insistere volendo aver ragione.
