The staff was incredibly rude right from the moment we started ordering. The cashier turned to me and my partner and said, "Take all the time you need; we have all the time in the world," followed by, "I'm being sarcastic, by the way." I just smiled and ignored his attitude. When he asked for my name to call me when the pizza was ready, I had to repeat it three times, spelling it out as H-E-R-A. He just scratched something on the paper and said, "Oh, I don't know! I don't understand! Your name will be 'bro,' okay?" It was clear he said it with a passive-aggressive tone. I chose to let it slide and not assume it was because we're queer, but I couldn't think of any other reason for such treatment.

While we were waiting for the pizza, another staff member came outside, loudly announcing, "Pizza for BRO!" and laughing. This upset my partner, who, in Italian, said, "That's not her name; please be respectful." The cashier inside responded with, "We don't speak English here," even though he had been speaking English with everyone else, except us. It's worth noting that most of their customers are tourists, and they should be more considerate. Also, there was an older man outside, likely the owner, who laughed at the situation. It's disappointing when an owner supports such behavior from their employees.

We haven't experienced this kind of treatment in other places on the island. This pizza could have been a slice of heaven after a long day at the beach, but the poor service completely ruined our experience.

Il personale è stato incredibilmente scortese fin dal momento in cui abbiamo iniziato a ordinare. Il cassiere si è rivolto a me e al mio partner dicendo: "Prendetevi tutto il tempo che vi serve; abbiamo tutto il tempo del mondo", seguito da: "Sto scherzando, tra l'altro". Ho semplicemente sorriso e ignorato il suo atteggiamento. Quando mi ha chiesto il mio nome per chiamarmi quando la pizza fosse pronta, ho dovuto ripeterlo tre volte, lettera per lettera, H-E-R-A. Lui ha solo graffiato qualcosa sulla carta e ha detto: "Oh, non lo so! Non capisco! Il tuo nome sarà 'bro', va bene?" Era evidente che lo stesse dicendo con un tono passivo-aggressivo. Ho scelto di lasciar perdere e non supporre che fosse dovuto al fatto che siamo queer, ma non riuscivo a pensare a nessun altro motivo per un trattamento del genere.

Mentre aspettavamo la pizza, un altro membro del personale è uscito annunciando ad alta voce: "Pizza per BRO!" e ridendo. Questo ha infastidito il mio partner, che, in italiano, ha detto: "Quel non è il suo nome; per favore, mostrate rispetto." Il cassiere all'interno ha risposto: "Non parliamo inglese qui", anche se aveva parlato inglese con tutti gli altri, tranne noi. È importante notare che la maggior parte dei clienti sono turisti e dovrebbero essere più considerati. Inoltre, c'era un uomo più anziano fuori, probabilmente il proprietario, che rideva della situazione. È deludente quando un proprietario sostiene un comportamento del genere da parte dei propri dipendenti.

Non abbiamo mai vissuto un trattamento del genere in altri luoghi dell'isola. Questa pizza avrebbe potuto essere un pezzo di paradiso dopo una lunga giornata in spiaggia, ma il pessimo servizio ha rovinato completamente la nostra esperienza.

We went here on a Friday night in search of pizza. Got there at 9pm and they’d run out. They convinced us to stay with 10% off the main menu and we’re so glad we did.
