What a delightful surprise this place is. By quite a distance the best tasting food on Marettimo, served in an incredibly authentic homemade style. The lovely lady who runs the place is an absolute joy. The prices are in the higher side on the island and the portions are not huge, but it all feels appropriate given the flavours.

Don’t expect to be rushed here - it’s a place to go, relax, take in some gorgeous local ingredients (rarely would I recommend to order for each course in Italy given the prices - but this is one of those places where it’s a must).

Marettimo has proven to be an amazing place to eat and we have had some amazing food in the three nights we have been here. But on the last night we have certainly came to a place that has excited us beyond any other place. It’s not sea front and has no spectacular views but if it’s the ultimate culinary experience you’re after, the Disney true life version of Ratatouille, than this is the place to come to. This is by far the best cuisine in the island. The courtyard is cute and even thought it doesn’t have a sea view it’s worth to try it.
