This is, to my knowledge the only Moroccan restaurant in Florence. It's managed by Youssef , he has a long experience in the dining sector, he was part of the cibreo staff, and a lot of people remember him for his kindness at the café of cibreo. The place is cozy, with soft light, and the power did his best to create a romantic environment (it's definitely a restaurant for couples). It was my first time that I had Moroccan food and the experience was great, I strongly suggest to start with the mixed starters that are plenty and really good. Me and my wife were really unable. To decide what to pick on the menu since all the dishes sound very attractive. At the end with the help of Youssef we made our choices,, everything was really good. And Youssef decided to spoil us, offering to us another main course that we didn't order, but we were really curious about it. We felt very welcomed. The dessert are different form what an Italian is used to, but they were delicious. Another great surprise came with the bill, the price was more than reasonable and definitely was a great night. The restaurant has also a second room, where they host small groups, and were my company had some business dinner. Be sure you book your table because the place is small. The service was superb, thanks again Youssef. The service is not super fast, but you're here to enjoy a nice dinner and great...
Read moreReally great meal at Cherlot! We were brought there by some friends who happen to be regulars and we couldn’t believe how great a little gem it was. The antipasti comprises a selection of 7 little dips with flatbreads and stuffed fillo pastry with harissa. All excellent! And with the mains, you will find all the classic from tajine to couscous. B’astilla, a dish ordered by our friends, consisted of crumbed dip fried fish fillo pastry. The textures and flavours were outstanding! These people are very hospitable which explains why it’s very popular...

You’ll love everything, every detail in the decor and every crumb off your plate. Our server was professional and charismatic. The chef was the absolute top; the food was beyond perfect - beautiful presentation, generous portions, exciting and delicious flavors!! Put simply, this is the Moroccan experience in Florence (Fiesole) that you don’t...
