Bistro di mare - LA FINESTRELLA SUL MOLO — Restaurant in Figari/Golfo Aranci

We stopped at Bistro di mare on our sailing trip this week. We were greeted by a very friendly manager/owner, and had a look at a very appealing menu. The lobster pasta, clam tagliatelle, seafood salad and tuna tartare was all absolutely amazing. All the dishes leaving the kitchen looked fresh, well presented, and made with love.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is local and festive. Perfect for a lunch or dinner with family.

The staff are all very accommodating and friendly, and will try their best to attend to your needs. As we left the restaurant, we asked the owner where the closest grocery shop was. He went out of his way to call up a shop and ensure they were open.

No customer service and no English so you can speak with them, the starter came like 5 minutes after we ordered, the second plate come 50 minutes after, even if you would call the to ask about the food they would not come, 3 different tables that arrived long after we ordered were getting food before us, al other guests were Italians, I felt like if you are not Italian and you are just some tourist you are not getting your order in time, everyone who arrives and orders after you, they will have priority just because they are locals or Italians, the blue crab pasta it’s just the pasta, the crab has no meat, they should not even...

Lets start with 5 stars and then change as per experience and performance. We booked over WhatsApp which was seamless though I used Google translate: on arrival outdoor seating was refused with no apology or explanation -0.5, the rose wine carafe was some of the worst I have drunk on this planet and in appearance it looked like it was a red and white mixed -0.5. Since there are no pictures of the dishes in the menu the first order was insufficient and the second order (for which there was a significant wait) was more than what was needed.
