Dear All, when you travel to such well-known destinations as Golfo Aranci, in Sardinia, you mostly expect some kind of touristic treating as “everybody smiles and make his best to ease your life right now, right here” but- for this restaurant, it’s exactly Only in quotes. First time we arrived late Saturday evening with my partner without any reservation, because the season is low and there are only few persons to come. The personnel was rather polite and the food was good enough. We found out during the discussion that Sunday noon will be their last working day for this season (2021) and booked a table on the terrace to have a perfect sunbath there. When we arrived Sunday noon, the first- cannot find our reservation, but because we were only 2, one table on the sun,1’st coastline was found for us. As we set and ordered a bottle of champagne (the local one) with oysters for me and espresso with a bottle of water for my partner, we found out that he’s very tough on time and should depart almost immediately not to be late for his business meeting. So- I was finishing my afternoon sun alone, and when he was gone, immediately the attitude changed. Nobody reacted to my requests, nobody poured me any water or “champagne”, I was neglected. I ordered finally some more fish and when the bottle was over, washing my hands I suddenly realized that my face is red and irritated. Going back to the table I checked the bottle and found out that it's not the traditional method of champagne production but the Charmant method, and I was in a panic, cause I got allergies to this very type of wine production. So I asked the general manager to talk to me about this fact, cause the waiter had never shown the bottle itself, it was his indication - the best local “champagne”. And! The reaction of both this waiter and the chief was more than disastrous. They made everything to treat me like a piece of...., underlining the fact that” only after the whole bottle, she understood, she got allergies” ( I guess that normal people who faced several food allergies know that they are not coming immediately you make a sip or a bite). Finally, the attitude was so disgusting that they told me to pay for the “treatment” or they will call Carabineri ( local police), I was crying all way back to hotel angry at myself that I didn't insist on calling the police and make them confirm their fantastic failure. Dear ladies, pleas are aware or you travel to Sardinia with your man, or with a group of friends, so that nonprofessional attitude is never put down only because you are alone. Read moreThis place is just a dream! Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Sardinia :) The service was great; the waiters were very attentive and friendly. As a starter we had the dish with artichoke and our main dishes were the risotto with fennel, gamba’s and parmesan and the spaghetti with clams. We loved all of them! Everything is locally sourced and tasted very fresh! Also the drinks are good. For dessert they come to your table with a cart filled with the most delicious desserts and you can pick the one that speaks the most to you. We went for the tiramisu, and loved it as well. La signora probabilmente la proprietaria subito gentile ha preso le ordinazioni, non si può dire lo stesso del cameriere che insistentemente continuava a versarci il vino fino a riempire quasi il bicchiere con l’unico intento di farcene ordinare un’altra che, una volta terminata, è stata capovolta in maniera cafona come la leggenda narra si usi nei peggiori night! Parliamo dei piatti: un polpo duro, e gommoso, i tagliolini all’uovo scotti che si sfaldavano all’incontro con la forchetta, si è salvato solamente il condimento che era a base di ragù di scorfano, mentre il risotto era mangiabile. Al termine della cena la signora ci ha chiesto come fosse andata e gli abbiamo esternato le nostre perplessità riguardo i piatti. Al momento del conto il signore in cassa probabilmente il titolare insieme alla signora ci ha offerto un gradito sconto visto il nostro commento negativo sui piatti. Ma purtroppo il gradimento è svanito pochi minuti dopo, poiché, il signore ha deciso di sfogarsi in maniera piuttosto vivace, perché seccato dalla situazione, apostrofandoci in tutte le maniere fino a inserci in una sua “no booking list” seguito da parole come “Questi qui non li facciamo più entrare”. La serata è degenerata dal momento in cui abbiamo chiesto spiegazioni sui commenti negativi e sgarbati che a parer nostro fossero diretti verso di noi. Voglio specificare che nessuno ha mai chiesto uno sconto sul prezzo, e che questo è stato applicato dal proprietario lo stesso che ha usato modi e parole che si commentano da sole.
