Casa Me' Ma' — Restaurant in Figline e Incisa Valdarno

Casa Me' Ma' is a popular restaurant/bar fusion in Figline Valdarno. The menu is varied and has some great vegan options. The design and layout of the restaurant was fab and really made for a good vibe. First, we tried the Vegan Burger, which was delicious and came in a very generous portion. The burger itself was a homemade bean burger, which is nice as a lot of restaurants just use fake meat. We also ordered the grilled cardoncelli mushroom and cream potatoes. Every component of this dish was delicious, especially the mushrooms! Next, we had the spaghetti "Fabri," which was super flavourful, and the walnut added some crunch. For dessert, we tried Crostana Vegana, which was so delicious! Both the berry and chocolate flavour were so tasty, and it was impossible to pick a favourite between them. Unfortunately, our trip wasn't without issue as one of our mains didn't get served for approximately an hour. All other mains had been long finished before it arrived which was really disappointing for our table. It was doubly frustrating because this was some of the best food we had eaten since arriving in Tuscany. After all of the fuss, the manager very kindly offered us a bottle of wine as an apology, which was very appreciated. I personally felt there were too few staff on and potentially an unexpected number of walkins that may have overwhelmed the kitchen/waiting staff. Well were should I begin? Greeted lovely buy I belive to be the owner? Seated promptly. And that's were it went down hill fast! Server was clearly not happy to be working to night or to tell us the the specials as she proceeded to tell all her other customers. A beautiful hidden restaurant, it is quite large with indoor and outdoor seating. Parking was hard for us to find so we parked down the street a bit. The menu is in Italian and English which is nice. It was quite busy when we arrived so service was a tad slow, which is reasonable, but very busy!
