Casamatta — Restaurant in Florence

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and I must say it was an incredible culinary experience! The service was impeccable, the staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. The cuisine was truly exceptional, every dish we ordered was presented elegantly and the flavor was simply delicious. The ingredients used were fresh and of high quality, you could taste the difference in every bite. The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and welcoming, with friendly decor. The background music or TV soccer matches allowing to spend a night even by myself or with friends. Overall, I can say that this restaurant is one of the best I've been to. The quality-to-price ratio was excellent, considering the high quality of the dishes and the excellent service.

Be cautious when dining in Florence—especially as an international traveler. I’ve visited this restaurant twice. While the food tastes good, my recent experience was disappointing. When I went to pay, I noticed something off with the bill. I was charged a fee just for sitting in the restaurant—something that didn’t happen during my first visit.

I returned to ask about the charge and saw the staff discussing it, clearly aware something wasn’t right. What bothered me most was their reaction—they laughed, assuming I didn’t understand what they were saying. Once they realized I did, their tone changed immediately.

Locale apparentemente accogliente, i tavoli troppo ammassati creano disagio nel voler togliere la mascherina, per non parlare del personale addetto ai tavoli che non cura il cliente e non segue le basi del servizio al consumatore. Vi anticipo che abbiamo lasciato la pasta sul tavolo "intera", le scaloppine sono state lasciate due fette ( in tre abbiamo assaggiate le altre due)

Eravamo in tre, abbiamo preso: un primo Penne Porro e speck, dove i due ingredienti primari erano quasi inesistenti alla vista e totalmente mancanti al palato, le penne sono state mantecate con la panna e questo mi porta a pensare ad un prodotto tenuto in frigo per settimane, infatti ho notato solo dopo le due ** sul menù. Il mio giudizio, piatto pessimo e macchiato anche al pomodoro... Questa non è cucina Toscana. Voglio passare ai secondi e chiuderò con la pizza: Scaloppine al limone 4 fettine 16,00 € e sapevano di vecchio insieme alle patate al forno che puzzavano di casa chiusa. La scaloppina sembrava lavata sotto l'acqua, non aveva la cremina che si forma cn la farina e il limone. Usano il latte anche per le scaloppine.. Anche questo l'ho notato solo dopo, un piccolo numero (7) vicino al nome del piatto... Dice che contiene tracce di latte...

Portano un pane pizza al tavolo al posto del pane, Questo ci ha salvato il pranzo e decidiamo di prendere una pizza Margherita in due, per la pizza nulla da dire tranne la qualità della mozzarella che a mio avviso andrebbe cambiata ( inoltre troppa non è sinonimo di buono, e poi il lingotto di mozzarella lasciamolo alla pizza spazzatura americana) La terza persona ha preso una tagliata alla griglia di circa 200g e delle verdure grigliate. Più fortunata di noi ma nulla di eccezionale.

La cosa più triste che mi ha portato a fare la recensione è stato il pessimo servizio che abbiamo ricevuto al tavolo. Se solo si fossero curati un minimo di noi e avessero chiesto perché abbiamo lasciato tutto, avrei chiuso un occhio e sarei tornato per la pizza, ma ieri hanno perso 3 cliente anche per...
