Pizzeria David 2 — Restaurant in Florence

We stumbled upon this place trying to avoid eating at the camping restaurant (overpriced place, skip it).

Restaurant David exceeded our expectations! The prices are very good, the atmosphere in the little garden terrace great and the staff was very welcoming. Our waittres spoke good English and the manager (?) was very welcoming.

Definitively the most wonderful Italian experience that I've had in my trip. The place is filled up with locals, creating a very social atmosphere. All combined makes it a wonderful stop for those who wish to have a real experience away from the touristic crowds downtown.

The host was very friendly with us and even gave us free shots of the traditional southern Italian drink "Limoncello" a must try!

Un bon restaurant 👌🏼 Rapport qualité prix excellent, je recommande fortement surtout pour les français comme nous (nous étions deux pour ce périple italien, en Octobre 2023) qui avons eu beaucoup de mal à trouver un bon resto où l'on mange bien. Le cadre est magnifique enfin, pour les connaisseurs d'histoire en tout genre, l'esprit est un peu style pub, de magnifiques cadres en bois y sont accrochés sur les murs, les Boiseries sont exceptionnellement bien entretenues 👌🏼 Google demande de noter "l'ambiance", difficile de noter ! Pour moi, dans cette établissement je ne peux pas dire que c'est top ou super top pour l'ambiance, je peux juste dire que nous avons été bien reçu, en premier par le cuisto puis la serveuse (qui parle un peu français d'ailleurs 🙏). Les plats sont très goûteux, à savoir que tout est séparé (en général en Italie), c'est à dire que les légumes et les viandes/poissons ne sont pas dans le même plat comme en France (chez nous, un steak est servi avec son accompagnement, frites, haricots, etc...), donc attention en passant commande ⚠️ Pour vous aider à comprendre une carte des menus, utilisez Google Traduction des textes, passez votre téléphone sur la carte, et Google vous traduit toute la carte dans votre langue.
